Excellent Service and Representation for Landlords! As a landlord I had been previously messed about and badly represented by a previous agent. I ended up with a tenant who I had to evict due to no payment of rent. As such I was very anxious about re-letting and decided to manage my new tenant myself. However I needed a company who understood my concerns and was willing to advertise and complete all the checks for me. Oak Valley did an amazing job, they ensured I only saw good quality tenants, and sifted time wasters and those who were not genuine. As such I have found a wonderful tenant. They are extremely thorough and helped through every step of the process. They did not pressure me to choose a tenant just so they could get their fees, which is what I had experienced previously with other agents. Tam and the team are genuine people who want the best for the land lords taking a common sense approach with no pressure. This gave me the confidence I needed to find the right tenant. I would highly recommend them for managing your property and all set up. They have reinstated my belief that letting properties can be made simple and stress free.... Read more

Everyone has been very courteous and professional all along the way. We live in a property which is managed & let by Oak Valley & would recommend this company 100%. Our reasons for a 5* review is that the lettings team are always very polite & courteous, nothing is too much trouble. You have the choice to call the maintenance dept or fill in an online form through their website if there is a repair needed, this is great as sometimes there's not enough hours in the day for a phone call, we have used both options. Property inspections are also made for a time that suits the tenant & again polite professional & always on time. Glynnis is the lady that deals with the maintenance side of things & is fantastic she takes the time to listen & make sure she has all the info needed to get the issue fixed asap & keeps you informed, also if you fill the online maintenance form in it gives you options to choose from to notify what the issue is & there is an option to attach photos if it helps to verify what the repair is, again we've used this and have always got a reply the same day. Oak valley also use reputable tradepersons & make sure that the tenant has a contact number for whoever will be attending the maintenance issue,we have never had to wait forever to get repairs done either & have been happy with the tradespersons & repairs that have been done. We have rented from different letting agents over the years & can say this company is the best we've ever used. If I could give no stars I would. The owner of this company cares about nobody but himself. He lets properties that are unsafe and lies about the repairs. He lets himself into properties illegally. I would recommend anyone considering Oak Valley should go somewhere else... Read more

I second Jesse and Maria they told me my property would be rennovovated but it wasn't, they didn't bother following it up. They changed bank details for rent and I accidentally deleted it, I called them up before rent was due on Friday. They didn't e mail me and rent was late. They tried to charged me so I refused due to negligence on their part. Month later decided to Harrass me by keep calling me. I had to block them. Judging by the staff I spoke to none of them have morals, 2 of them said if the shoe was on the other foot they would of paid. Don't do business with them I should of realised what I'd signed up for when they asked me to get keys cut for the property so unprofessional. Oh I tried to put no stars but it wouldn't let me post so I'll settle for 1.... Read more

Possibly the worst estate agents I have had the misfortune of dealing with. They are trying to force us to sign a new tenancy agreement (at a cost of £120) even though we have been on a rolling contract for 7 and a half years with no problem. They phoned us nearly every day for 2 weeks with the threat of losing our home if we didn't sign because they do not do rolling contracts!... Read more

I highly recommend Oak Valley Estates!!! They have provided me with several first class tenants, sent tradesmen to my property for a reasonable charge when I couldn't get them out in time. Generally managed my letting fantastically. They have also just sold my property for me in conjunction with a great solicitor ESN Solicitors in Erdington. I cant compliment them enough. The day one when I called oak valley agent to book a viewing for a to let propert they were hostile. I dont know wheteher its because I was an asian. The lady who came on the day of viewing was very unfriendly. I liked the property and said I wish to make an application. But she said since there was many interested in it. She would let the land lord choose the tenant. I said ok. But actually ther were only 2 applicants. But after 3 days I didnt get any reply from the agent. When I called them , the lady who came for the viewing answered, She said they are still waiting for the landlords decision. But she said at the end of the conversation that She is pretty sure that the other applicant would be choosen by the land lord. It showed that the agent decides who takes the property. They dont want asians to take the property. I felt racial discrimination . I felt very bad. When I called the manager of the agency. He wasnt ready to listen to me. He said he is not happy to prolong the unproductive conversation and humiliated me. Finally they said to me that landlord chose the other applicant. ... Read more

All I can say is keep an eye on repair charges. During the time they managed my property I was charged for sealing around the kitchen sink. Have just had a new kitchen I found that the original seal was still in place and had never been replaced or additional sealant added. This has made me question how other repairs were charged but never carried out.... Read more
