Supposed to be staying here tonight, got a call from the hotel this morning to say there had been a big flood. Offered to move us upstairs to iconic and new York which we reluctantly agreed. These rooms are pretty ugly looking but I guess did the job but what topped us off was seeing s group of ladies in dresses, clearly guests, going into the vault. Clearly there had been a mistake and double booking and just chose to fob us off..absolutely disgusting behaviour and I will be complaining... Read more

We stayed in the basement Vault. There is clearly a damp issue, as it smelt unpleasant and our beds were damp. No WiFi, even though it was advertised so we were planning on using it for music for our evening. There was also no warm water for the hot tub. Good location, but aside from that, very disappointing. Given what the cost is for staying there, we would have expected a higher standard.... Read more

Awful and disappointing experience in the vault room at the masonic apartments, after previously staying in the shankly hotel we had high expectations for the weekend to celebrate a birthday however this apartment was very cold and smelled of damp. We had 3 bedrooms with multiple beds but we couldn't use one of the rooms due to the extreme damp smell and all of the beds felt damp that our whole party (17 people) ended up sleeping on towels! Each room had a bathroom with a sink that you can barely fit your hands in and there was a bathroom door opposite the kitchen that wouldn't open. As this room was underground there were no windows or natural daylight but it also seemed that there was no proper ventilation system which is probably the reason behind the damp smell. We had issues getting to the hotel as the street is pedestrian only so we had to walk from the art house hotel 2 streets away carrying our luggage, once we arrived the room was not labeled so we tried the entry code on all the doors but it didn't work, we had to go back to the art house hotel to get a member of staff to help. We have also had issues trying to make the booking to begin with as they never seem to answer the phone, it took over a week to get a response to the booking query and I left multiple messages by email to request additional items for the birthday weekend but never had any response. No air conditioning, only window in 1 bedroom opened, especially in this heat, needed more fans, no free WiFi, towels smelt musty.. Coffee sachets out of date.. But had great night with friends, who needs coffee anyway ?????????... Read more

NO stars if i could!AVOID! AVOID!AVOID! false advertisement for their packages. Nothing included only tell you a week before that you need to pay alot more money to have those things included.(that they said from the start were part of the package) THEY DON'T GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK! we planned a hen do for a friend and shes ended up with no hen do because of these cow boys!... Great place to stay right at the top of bold street. Fairly well equipped, however a little run down and tatty in places. Almost everything worked apart from the sound system and the only items we felt missing were a bottle opener and another couple of small amenities. Everywhere was clean and tidy however and perfectly serviceable. For the price we paid and the group we were with, it was fantastic, however we felt it wouldn't of been worth the full un-discounted price. Overall a very good nights stay that I would recommend!... Vault it self was amazing, what let it down was the fact it took nearly 3hrs to fill the bath maintenance had to come sort the temperature out as well, then 4 times maintenance were called as music system kept tripping. There were sockets hanging off the wall, lots of cables running along ceiling which didn't look safe. we did have breakfast delivered in the morning which was so so good to be fair, it came in boxes and plenty for us all. If these snags were all sorted then this would have been a brilliant night rather than faulty towers experience.... Read more

One star for the staff who were helpful. However, the apartment was not well maintained, it is in urgent need of repair. Sound system did not work. Internet did not work. Needs totally redoing. We stayed in the New York Apartment, it was not clean. Bathroom was disgusting. The cleaners came but the apartment needed a DEEP clean and a refurb. Mattresses were not comfortable. Smelt damp and all furnishing were grubby. The floor was dirty on arrival. Not what we were promised from the photographs - such a shame.... Read more
