Paul at The Good Estate Agent has absolutely restored my faith in estate agents. I was considering using an online provider and got quotes from online and high street agents. I was immediately impressed with Paul's approach, professionalism, valuation, advice and down to earth nature. Of course, I was also attracted to The Good Estate Agent's excellent value for money fee structure.
Paul advised the most appropriate marketing strategy and pulled out all the stops to have a good open day. There was a full asking price offer following the open day.
In the meantime, Paul has been available for any and every question I have had, even providing advise about houses I've been interested in buying. It's been like having my own personal estate agent. Also, I really like the fact that I have dealt with one agent during the whole process.
If you have to choose an estate agent, choose The Good Estate Agent. Good by name, excellent by nature.

The Good Estate Agent in Loughton, led by Michael Watts, was exceptionally good. Michael took our property on after it had somewhat stagnated on the market with another agent. He not only got us sold but helped us buy a property on his books. He was tireless, honest and a great salesman. He always had our interests at heart and I really enjoyed working with him to sell and buy our properties.

She went above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect on more than one occasion during, what was, a complex process made even more difficult by the Covid-19 restrictions. We were fortunate to find Julie Tuckey of the Good Estate Agent, East Kent to sell our house for us and even more importantly, to find us the house of our dreams.
Julie knew better than we did about what would make the perfect home for us - she found the property, called us immediately to set up a viewing and the moment we walked through the door we knew she was right!
Of course, selling a house and buying a new one isn't easy or straightforward. What we had in Julie was an agent who was available when we needed, responsive, knowledgeable and pragmatic because when the issues come (there are always issues) Julie was there to guide us through them, help us put them right or advise us what to do next.
Julie found a buyer for our home quickly and was the intermediary between us and the owners of the house we were buying. She kept us all informed at every step and she was honest. We were always aware of what was happening.
I guess the best thing was having an estate agent who understood the importance of buying a home, who was interested in more than the commission but in delivering an excellent service and making sure that dreams came true.
The day Julie passed us the keys to our forever home is one I will never forget and Julie made that possible. She felt our pain and our joy at every step and without her we wouldn't be here.
I can't recommend Julie and The Good Estate Agent enough (I am sure that is clear by now!). Whilst I will never move again because Julie found me my perfect home - if I had to I would choose Julie every time.
