They have been incredibly caring and considerate when dealing with my elderly mother who is selling the property. Kept up to date on viewings and feedback well. Thoroughly recommend Folkestone branch, notably Kayleigh, Sam and John.

8th Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)They don’t do as promised. I had my property on full management by them where they said they’d provide me an update of the property on a certain months interval. They never sent me any written nor photo/video updates as stated. I sent them numerous emails asking why the reports was not sent to me but there was no any counter reply to any of my emails. I then CCd the emails to the branch manager too! Still no reply to any of my emails. This is only one example of their deed. There are others too!!! I’d never ever recommend any of my fiends and families to give them a management of their property to Connells. Since I’ve spread these news some of my friends have already decided to leave them. One of my friend also stated the same problem with the Connells. To whoever is reading this, my advice to you is don’t pay to manage your property with them. You’ll regret it badly.

8th Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)Glenn was beyond fantastic and no words could ever thank him, for how much he has helped me through the buying and selling process. I had no idea what I was doing, all while trying to juggle a full time job and obstacle seemed to just pop up one after the other during the process. But Glenn was always the first one on the phone updating me, explaining what things meant and guiding me through what I needed to do; while pushing the other so called "professionals parties" in the background. Even with the selling side of my house, when neither my solicitors nor Your Move the other estate agent were bothering to help and in fact, providing me with wrong information and messing me around more often than not. Glenn even went above and beyond when I gained access to the new property and there was an issue with the plumbing. He came round after work to help me out! Honestly regardless of whether you are selling your house or buying, go to Martin's Estates. Could not fault them one bit. Thank you so much Glenn! See you again in a few years ????

18th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

6th Dec 2024 (5 days ago)We purchased a property from Rafferty and Pickard and right from our first viewing in the summer to completion in December they have provided outstanding customer service. They liaised closely with us throughout offering additional advice such as window companies, plumbers, plasterers that we after. They were very accessible, responsive, and super knowledgable about the house, its history, and the local area. During our initial viewings Paul made us feel very comfortable and offered lots of advice. Throughout the exchange and completion process when there were complications further down the chain, John took the bull by the horns and got everyone aligned to get the chain over the line. Without his direction and mediation, the chain would have probably collapsed. Rafferty and Pickard are a superior estate agent who deserve tremendous credit for the work that they do. Thank you both again for doing such an amazing job.
