It's amazing how seriously selfish some people are. Tristans has around 300 rented properties to maintain and 5 engineers to do whatever, whenever. Every client that calls with a dripping tap believes that they're the only client we have and that we should come racing to their immediate rescue. Whilst all of our clients are totally important to us, we have to prioritise our call outs and put the most serious problems first. Escape of gas / water, no heating / hot water, no electrics etc... will always come first. I've read the 2 negative reviews on here and to say that I'm furious is an understatement. We make absolutely every effort to get to every repair job within the same day but it is impossible to get to everywhere, on time, all of the time. We respond to around 1000 repair jobs every year and have 98% customer satisfaction when we audit call our clients. It seems that nobody likes to put a positive review when everything is perfect but on the very rare occasion that something doesn't go to plan, they like to put a nasty on here. I will be speaking to the people involved.

Terrible business, I've had to call several times to ask a plumber to come out and check some issues, I was waiting for a month for a reply. Called them again and arranged a plumber to come, never showed up..no phone call to follow up and now they are not answering the phone. But can send me a letter to increase my rent payments. ...
