We bought this property through Lockstones in 2013 and when the time came to sell, we used them again. We dealt with the same agent, Sarah, for both transactions. She knew the market and the local area as a result of being in post for a good while. Her local knowledge meant that from deciding to sell (Friday) to Instructing Lockstones (Monday) to having the photos taken (Tuesday) and the advert going live (Wednesday) we had two viewings arranged for the Thursday, of which the first one made an offer at the asking price. The sale went through without a hitch and we were delighted with the service. OK, they got a fat fee for what seems like a straightforward process, but would any of the on-line 'commission free' agents had the right contacts to set up this sale? I doubt it. Like the good car mechanic would say, "It's £10 for swinging my hammer, and £50 for knowing where to swing it!" I think Lockstones were great value and would recommend them.
