Appalling service. Every issue is complicated by a lack of communication, endless delays & contradictory information. The different teams do not seem to talk to each other or share any information at all and the staff seem really annoyed anytime you ask for help. I found that none of my complaints about the property were taken seriously. We were left with terrible plumbing issues for several months. I was fobbed off time and time again with platitudes and excuses. Staff members were always always in 'meetings' and they would never ever call me back when they say they would. They are notoriously slow at returning deposits and consistently unable to provide any updates when you call. If you are unlucky enough to be renting with this agency then make sure you have the deposit protection process fully explained to you in writing at the outset and keep a record of all communications discussing its return.... Been my First rented property, I found the services of Pk Sales and Letting to be the most satisfying I could ever get. Although most people may have had unfavourable experiences with them but then no one is perfect and from my point of view they are striving to ensure that offer excellent services with the lessons learnt from each client cause no one is perfect. Utterly useless and they'll try to scam you with the deposit. 4 tenants on one same building had to legally fight to get their deposit back when they finished their tenancy. That's after months of not solving the tenant's problems with the properties and many empty promises. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!... Read more

Absolutely appalling worst lettings agent ever rented a property for my son over six months ago left the place in immaculate condition was told that my deposit would be released 6 1/2 months later still am waiting every time I phoning up I am told that the person I need to speak to is either on holiday or is not in the office or is on a lunch break or is in the bathroom only to be told that they will call me back I have never in 6 1/2 months have one single phone call back from the Agency. Absolute scam do not rent or buy any properties from this agency you will be very very disappointed I rate this -5... Read more

ATTENTION! Worst agency I have ever seen in my life. Nothing close to professionalism. The hole staff, including the management, does not care about their customers. When I moved in, my bed, my shower tap handle, central heating were broken, drugs were found in the sofa, gaz and electricity bills were already at more than £50, curtains were missing and a lot of other things. I have struggled for more than a month before getting my bed fixed while I was recovering from a lung surgery and now it’s been two month I am still claiming for everything else to be fixed. This is a huge scandal and even more when I think that my rent is worth £4000 a month.... Read more

Just about the worst agency I have ever used. Moved into the property and it was filthy: there were piles of rotting fingernails in one of the dressers, a bin full of rubbish stuffed into one of the cupboards and dust and dirt all over the house. The agency were terrible at dealing with any complaints or issues that we had during the lease. It took months for things to be fixed and I would have to send multiple emails a day before their admin would reply. I left the tenancy before it ended and sublet my room as there was mould in my room. It took months for me to convince them that the mould was structural and get them to fumigate the room for the new tenant because they kept telling me it was my fault. When the window frame in my room was rotting away. When we left it took us almost 2 months to get the deposit. We were told it was put into a deposit protection scheme but there was no record of it being in any of the major schemes and we were never given log in details to see it or request it back. Miraculously , once we pointed this out, it appeared in a scheme! Then it took another few weeks for the agency to approve it to be released despite them constantly saying this had been done. I am certain that this agency is breaking the law and I would advise anyone not to rent with them and if you do, go to citizens advice. They are conducting illegal business and stealing money. None of them are qualified enough to work there, they can’t follow or understand simple instructions, they were never in the office when I went round and I’m honestly surprised they still have jobs.... DO NOT GIVE PK SALES AND LETTINGS YOUR BUSINESS! Absolutely appalling services. Never in my life have I been compelled to write any kind of bad review online until now. From move-in day it was a nightmare - I moved in to one of their flats in January, for the first two weeks there was a power cut in the flat - no gas or electricity. Two months later, the fridge/freezer broke down. Initially the freezer was over-freezing but rather than getting an engineer they advised me to defrost the freezer every week! The problem of course persisted over the next few months, resulting in the fridge packing up too. I was without a fridge for a week, £50 worth of rotten food and absolutely no compensation. On top of that one evening the maintenance man decided to change the locks whilst I was out of the house, locking me out all night. Once again I was not reimbursed for the cost of the key and was given no formal explanation as to why this was done. No one at the agency had any urgency about dealing with any of these problems and their favourite tactic is to bandy around your call to different agents - none of whom are ever able to solve your problem. The Admin at the Shoreditch branch is clearly overworked and is incapable of speaking to customers professionally. Each and every time I had a complaint I had to be making three or four phone calls a day to her where she consistently slowed down the process of fixing any problems, denied any culpability of the agency for any of the problems, and never once apologised for her dreadful manner over the phone. I have repeatedly been pushed to make threats in order to get anything done at this agency. So if you don't want to waste your money and energy dealing with this agency then I suggest you RUN A MILE.... Read more

I rented a flat from this agency six months ago at their Shoreditch branch and initially I thought that they were going to support the doggy landlord when I decided to move out using the break clause on the contract but they were very professional in dealing with my request to move out of the property and I got my deposit back intact, very helpful and sincere, will definitely do business with them again... These people are so unprofessional it's unreal gave me a flat last year filthy I mean filthy send emails after email regarding this but. never answer emails or issues you have in flat and most importantly don't return deposit on their 10 day promise. I've raised dispute in order to get deposit back a joke. I will now have to produce all my recorded phone calls and emails with pictures of all the issues I had. It took 7 weeks for them to release my deposit shocking They blame the landlord but I doubt this Stay well clear of these guys really this is not a wind up. In this day and age plenty good agency out there without having to deal with these guys... Read more

Well, how PK Sales & Lettings managed their lot with me and the six other people I was supposed to move in with, I don't know. First, the day before we were meant to move in, the agency told us that there was another agency on the case, that also had a group of people ready to move in the next day (fair enough, landlord's fault - not agency's). The agency reassured us they were going to fight for us and get the landlord to choose us. The next day - the official move-in date - no updates were given to us regarding that situation; instead, it suddenly came to light that some work needed doing in the house before it was safe for us to move in, even though it was the agency/landlord themselves who insisted we move our proposed move-in date 10 days earlier than the date we actually wanted to move in on. Then, 9 days later (after being homeless that entire time because we gave notice to our current place 10 days earlier, as requested), finally hoping to be able to move in after receiving many assurances from the agency that it would be fine, they tell us that it is going to take another 2 - 3 weeks. At this point, we told them we could not wait that long and requested our holding deposit back. Of course, we no longer trusted them to actually be honest with us and wondered whether if we waited 2 - 3 weeks, they would just tell us again that the work was not completed. They sent us our deposit back, and shortly after we saw the house advertised again. One of us called in to request a viewing and ask when the property would be ready to move in to. We were told that it was ready immediately, but only for families, not houseshares. WELL, so it turns out that this whole ordeal we were put through was simply because they were trying to put us off so that we pulled out, because they no longer wanted the house to be a houseshare?! Quite possible by the sounds of it! The particular agent that we dealt with was really lovely, but unfortunately she was just trying to blag it and hope everything was going to be okay, without taking into consideration the fact that she was playing with seven people's lives. Only yesterday did I finally move in to a new home, after being homeless for two and a half weeks. I had to commute from Brighton all the way to London, pay for a storage unit, couchsurf at friends' places - I don't have to explain to you the distress of being homeless. I would encourage you NOT to deal with PK Sales & Lettings because they do not work in a transparent way, and are not people people. They deal with landlords who are crooks and do not hold them responsible for their actions. Get your act together, PK! The other thing that is of concern to me is that if you look at any of the negative reviews they have received, they very unprofessionally deny all the claims, and call the people out who leave these reviews as liars! I do not trust a company (or a person, for that matter) who cannot own up to their mistakes.... Read more
