I'd got to the point where I decided I could no longer deal with the large corporate lettings agents in Hackney (I had a particularly bad experience with one of them) and wanted to find a small, flexible agent that would give us the bespoke service we needed. I'm so grateful we found Love Living Hackney. They've surpassed all expectations, right from the first call I made to Suzie in the office when she qualified my requirement. I was stunned when Max (a co-founder and co-director) called me back within 5 minutes of Suzie taking my call. This service excellence has been typical and consistent throughout, from stunning images and brochure which are some of the best I've seen from an agent; great descriptions - and honest advice about pricing and marketing. Also, keeping my husband and I updated throughout the process. Max personally gave us feedback after the first few viewings - and most importantly he found us a great tenant in record time. The move in process needed to happen very quickly and Max went over and above, even working out of office hours to do all the relevant checks/paperwork, to make sure our tenant could move in within days of making an offer. I can't say enough good things about the team.

Estate agents get a very hard press (and often with good reason) but Love Living and David and the team were nothing if not impeccable over the whole selling process. From straight talking honesty about the property thru managing the whole process with calm and proactive input and help where needed. Giving it was a multi property chain there were numerous stress points and without David holding it all together with the various parties it would have likely collapsed. If you're looking for an agent who is going to steer your transaction all the way through to completion, David is your guy.
Getting a good offer is one thing but where a great agent stands out from the rest is their ability to manage the sale through to completion on time. This is where David's experience shone through. He engages regularly with all the relevant parties (buyer, seller, mortgage broker, surveyor etc) to keep things progressing. On a couple of occasions he even arranged further inspections that needed to be done to keep the sale on track time-wise.
We've sold a couple of places in Hackney (using four agents - which shows sales don't always work out) and he is head and shoulders above anyone else. We've seen other people recommend him on parents' groups etc - so it's clearly not just us who think he's great.

After sitting down with a variety different agents we as a family (myself representing my Granddad) decided to go with Love Living Hackney and I must say it was the best decision we made! Being first timers in selling we first met David who was so knowledgable - honest, informative and patient. He assured us with everything he could and would do and he delivered on it all. He also went out his way by going to find a property in our chosen area in which he had extensive knowledge on. Along with David, Max was a superb agent when it came to communicating with myself on clients viewing. Every doubt or question we had as a family he answered. Every text or call he responded instantly! He kept us up-to-date with everything and never left us in the dark when it came to the negotiating and collaborating with our final buyer. He like David, even went out of his way to help us with the home we was purchasing by representing us with the agent - which really he didn't have to do as it wasn't part of his job to. But being a gent, he did, and now my Granddad is downsizing into a lovely home he and the whole family adore. I can't thank them enough. Honestly, we was a little nervous at first with whoever we went with but the team eased those nerves and delivered! For those doing it for a relative (an elderly especially who can be anxious a lot of them time) these guys are the agents to use! Max has always been incredibly helpful and full of good advice around purchasing and selling my properties. He also found a great tenant for my flat and managed the letting, and we still have the same tenant 7 years later with not a single issue. If you are looking for a trusted agent then Max is it.
