Really professional service. Immediate help with every step. Would recommend. Best of luck Adam!
Adam showed us round a few apartments recently, he immediately put us at ease and nothing was too much trouble for him. He had a lovely sense of humour and we found him to be well prepared and knowledgeable.
We would highly recommend him and would only be too pleased to have him looking after us as our letting agent.
"I found the the team at Stephenson Browne to be exemplary during my property sale - they kept me informed with an honest and professional approach which was thoroughly appreciated - happy to recommend!".
Had a painter round to paint a tiny square patch below the stairs no more than a 5 minute job it took him an hour and half! Stephenson Browne didn't tell us it would take that long as a result my partner was late for work communication is clearly an issue avoid like the plague!.
Very poor service and customer experience. The photos taken were extremely bad, I even had to send my own in which weren’t good at all, but were far better than the ones they had taken. The write up on my property was that bad I had to re-write it myself. I had an offer on the property which I accepted, but the house never turned to “under offer” or “sold stc”, even after a month. On querying this, I was informed their process is that they don’t mark it as under offer or sold stc until after surveys etc. are completed, although they weren’t letting anyone view the property that rang up so there was no purpose of showing it still available. I now know this is a load of rubbish and it is the process to mark as sold stc or under offer, really it was because the buyers had pulled out on 3 other properties, information which the estate agents failed to tell me about. Lo and behold after 3 months, they pulled out on buying my property as well. During those 3 months Whittaker & Biggs pressurised me almost on a daily basis to get everything completed with my solicitor, telling me the buyers weren’t willing to progress with survey or anything until I had completed all legalities through my solicitor and there was constant pressure for me to complete it all. Being a first time seller, I did as told. This resulted in me incurring all my legal fees as everything had been done ready to exchange contracts, which I have now had to pay for and lost that money as the house didn’t sell again within 2 months of it falling through. I am now £600 down. If they had been honest with me about the buyers and the fact mine was the 4th property they had put an offer on, I would have been more careful on accepting their offer and doing anything with my solicitor. While the sale was still going through, the buyers had a survey completed, which bought up 1 minor thing which wasn’t even an issue and I was made to believe my house was falling down, the report was terrible, I’m going to have to get other surveys / work completed, I’m going to have to drop the price, etc. etc. All the pressure on me. When I received a copy of the report I couldn’t believe it and the huge mountain out of a mole hill that had been made. Everything was in the buyers favour and none of the service at all was in my best interests. The impact of having to fork out £600 for nothing and the wasted 3 months has had on me, my family and life is huge and still impacts us to this day. This is peoples lives their messing with and I’m so upset to have received the service I did.
I would recommend the team at Macclesfield,They worked hard and kept us informed throughout the sale,I would defo use again many thanks.
Hopless for potential tennant...they robe 150£ and go...with no help to resolve it with ladlord . I was renting property for 850£ in other agency for over 2 years with even single delay in payment. Thanks Daniel its a lots to improve as estate agent.replaying to your answer: taking 150£ holding deposit when property is still occupaied its another agency scam that why I said its a " robery" but becouse governement baned charge for checking you named it holding deposit now.

I also wish to formerly thank you for your marketing expertise in firstly finding a buyer for the two above Student Pods, and your effort and dedication in keeping the buyer on board whilst lengthy proceedings took place, to amend certain legal aspects of the lease.
Any time either of you are coming my way, please feel free to phone me on either my fixed line or mobile, to arrange a meet and I'll buy you a drink and a pub lunch.
Kind regards & best wishes for the future,
I put my property on the market with this company, within 2 months I had 3 different people managing the sale, not one of them gave updates and required my chasing of them. If you’re looking to sell your property quickly at a price you would like then don’t contact these guys. They will however sell it if you are willing to put it on for at least 20% less than what you would like to receive.
