21st Jan 2026 (4 days ago)We had one day to choose a suitable rental property at short notice and I had made a list and itinerary but in the end we actually chose the additional property that Adam Walker showed us around! Working with Adam was a really positive experience, he was friendly and honest and he went out of his way to accommodate our schedule and had a excellent knowledge of the properties and the local area and was able to answer all our questions. Thanks Adam! ????

Kept in close contact and were always there to ask the vendors questions on our behalf. We are looking forward to completing and collecting the keys on Friday. Thanks again Adam & Kim.

No hesitation in recommending Fisher German.
28th Nov 2025 (8 weeks ago)AVOID GILSON GREY. No issues with the estate agents, but if they recommend Gilson Grey as your conveyancer, don't do it. I've never met a more useless bunch of "professionals". I've spent more than 2 weeks and 30 phonecalls trying to get someone to send in forms for my LISA deposit, a 5 minute task. Can't complete my purchase until then.

The whole process of applying for a tenancy, viewings and dealing with the organisation of a lease can be very stressful but Helen was extremely helpful and made the process as easy as it could be. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the services of Fisher German.

Special mention for Steph who was my main contact, she was unbelievable. Kept me updated at all stages, was professional, understanding, supportive and also great fun too. I have already recommended Steph to a close friend who has shared similar experience to myself. OUTSTANDING

12th Jun 2018 (7 years ago)Very poor service and customer experience. The photos taken were extremely bad, I even had to send my own in which weren’t good at all, but were far better than the ones they had taken. The write up on my property was that bad I had to re-write it myself. I had an offer on the property which I accepted, but the house never turned to “under offer” or “sold stc”, even after a month. On querying this, I was informed their process is that they don’t mark it as under offer or sold stc until after surveys etc. are completed, although they weren’t letting anyone view the property that rang up so there was no purpose of showing it still available. I now know this is a load of rubbish and it is the process to mark as sold stc or under offer, really it was because the buyers had pulled out on 3 other properties, information which the estate agents failed to tell me about. Lo and behold after 3 months, they pulled out on buying my property as well. During those 3 months Whittaker & Biggs pressurised me almost on a daily basis to get everything completed with my solicitor, telling me the buyers weren’t willing to progress with survey or anything until I had completed all legalities through my solicitor and there was constant pressure for me to complete it all. Being a first time seller, I did as told. This resulted in me incurring all my legal fees as everything had been done ready to exchange contracts, which I have now had to pay for and lost that money as the house didn’t sell again within 2 months of it falling through. I am now £600 down. If they had been honest with me about the buyers and the fact mine was the 4th property they had put an offer on, I would have been more careful on accepting their offer and doing anything with my solicitor. While the sale was still going through, the buyers had a survey completed, which bought up 1 minor thing which wasn’t even an issue and I was made to believe my house was falling down, the report was terrible, I’m going to have to get other surveys / work completed, I’m going to have to drop the price, etc. etc. All the pressure on me. When I received a copy of the report I couldn’t believe it and the huge mountain out of a mole hill that had been made. Everything was in the buyers favour and none of the service at all was in my best interests. The impact of having to fork out £600 for nothing and the wasted 3 months has had on me, my family and life is huge and still impacts us to this day. This is peoples lives their messing with and I’m so upset to have received the service I did.

We contacted Dean Reeves who really worked swiftly and professionally and found us a buyer within a week of our initial discussions. Both Dean and his Sales Manager Emma Williams were both professional, friendly and very helpful. Thanks ????

The marketing was very professional with good photographs and videos, we got lots of viewings which were all handled by James. Also when things stalled while enquiries were being answered by both ours and the buyers' solicitors, James and Louise were extremely diligent in helping to move the process along which really helped us to complete on time. Would highly recommend Lord and Porter.

My house had 6 offers in 6 days which was unbelievable. As I was out of area later, Alex went round to the property and supervised anything that needed doing. I cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend this company for any house moving needs. Thanks so much Alex
