My experience with Arlen Properties has been incredibly unpleasant. The professionalism and conduct of the staff have been highly reprehensible. Initially, they presented themselves as friendly and accommodating when we were considering renting their properties. However, after moving in, their behaviour took a significant turn for the worse. We raised concerns about the property's cleanliness and potential issues a week after moving in, particularly as my sister has a dust allergy. Unfortunately, their response in email communication was rude and unpleasant. Given their lack of honesty, I strongly advise anyone considering renting from them to thoroughly document the property's condition with photographs. Failing to do so could lead to unjustified high deductions from your deposit. We encountered an incident involving a significant cut in the sofa, which they had covered with sofa pillows when we moved in back in 2021. During the inventory check-out, they attempted to hold us responsible for this damage, but we had evidence to prove it was pre-existing. Another disheartening aspect of our experience occurred when we unintentionally left behind some personal belongings upon moving out. Despite weeks of email correspondence in which we requested permission to retrieve our items, they disposed of them without our consent, leaving our efforts to reclaim them in vain. Furthermore, it is essential to note that their actions in this matter were not in compliance with legal procedures, and as a result, they were legally responsible for the damages incurred. Regrettably, they refused to compensate for the value of the lost property, further exacerbating our frustration and dissatisfaction with their handling of the situation. This agency appears to lack empathy and compassion for its tenants. Dealing with them has been emotionally draining due to their consistently impolite communication. I strongly recommend conducting thorough research and due diligence before considering a rental agreement with them, as they have demonstrated a contentious approach.... Read more

We went to see a property one day… when we get there we are informed that the current tenants expressed interest in staying. After viewing had a discussion as to what next steps were and we expressed great interest. We were told that they would check with current tenants and let us know asap. Not two hours later we get a call saying yes the tenants are not staying we can go ahead. We say perfect we want to view it one last time but we are very happy to take the property. 45 minutes later we get a call saying sorry but the current tenants are staying so we can’t carry on. 0% professionalism… no wonder only has 2 stars….... The worst customers Service I ever received, the girl I spoke to was very dismissive, rude and absolutely rotten, honestly the way this girl spoke to me was disgusting she even hang up on me cause I asked to speak to the management team. How do people like her have a job is beyond me. The only reason they are even getting one star review is the only way I can post this, which is a joke, the only thing she deserve is lose her job....
