Please read the reviews. Don’t waste your time with this agency. The only positive I can add is that Liberty was prompt in replying and welcoming during our viewing. Other than that, the woman over the phone named Alex was super unhelpful. She got rude when we enquired as to why they suddenly couldn’t continue with our application even though our references were yet to be obtained by the agency and our holding deposit was already requested by them, which we did pay upon sending off our completed forms. Huge waste of time. There was little to no communication regarding their abruptness in refunding us other than saying there were “discrepancies”. We got our deposit back which I’m glad about as I would not recommend this agency. Several reviews mention bias towards the landlord, which I 100% concur with. The alleged “discrepancies” in our application was fully a mistake on their end for not reading our forms properly. They hadn’t even carried out the referencing! Not renter friendly.... Read more

Do not rent properties with this agency. Complained numerous times re damp and mould in the property and the team refused to carry out any works to repair. They clearly do not care about the condition of the properties they rent out.... Read more

Honestly the best estate agent we have ever dealt with. We were burnt so badly by our previous rental and we actually couldn't believe how great they were from start to finish. They told us at the beginning that they look after the renters, but we didn't think that it could be possible that they meant it. Ryan bent over backwards to be accomodating. When we moved in on a weekend and it turned out that they we didn't have the key for the back door which we needed to be able to get the couch in the house, he not only responded to my email on his day off, but also came to our house to make sure we could open it. They were always responsive to any issues we had (completely different to our previous experience) and were amazing at liaising with the owner to get anything signed off. And for the end process of getting our deposit back etc it went extremely smoothly. Everyone was so nice when we called. Couldn't recommend them more highly.... Read more

DO NOT USE THESE AGENTS. They are rude, unresponsive, and didn’t let us know when we had paid a holding deposit that they had given it to someone else - we were unaware so we would have been homeless had we not enquired, they were likely planning on keeping the money. I felt belittled by them, they clearly felt they could take advantage of us as young female students.... Read more

If it was possible to leave zero stars I would. Observed a consistent bias towards the landlord, a lack of responsiveness, and instances of unprofessional conduct, which I believe may include sexist behavior. I felt my concerns were dismissed, and there was an avoidance of addressing issues. Specifically, a member of your staff named Ryan was particularly rude and unhelpful in handling my queries. I kindly request a prompt investigation into these matters and a response outlining the actions your agency will take to address the concerns raised. Additionally, I seek guidance on your formal complaint process. I trust your agency values professionalism and fairness and looks forward to a swift resolution.... Read more

The website said this property’s underfloor heating system and other inventories are in good conditions. The agent called Ryan also said all things are perfect during the house viewing. After we checked in, we found underfloor heating system, tumble dryer, and oven are broken. In this case, we spent 1 month in this property without efficient heating system between November and December 2023. When we asked Ryan why he did not tell us the real status of these inventories, he said he knows nothing about it and they only do visual investigation before we moved in. Ryan stubbornly believed the heating system in this property was efficient. After we sent tons of emails to Ryan, he finally agreed to sent electricians to repair it. He sent electricians to the property for three times but they are obviously amateurs and know nothing about the underfloor heating system. Until now, this problem still remains. We sent email to Ryan and said we want to report it to the council. Then he brought an oil filled radiator to the property and stubbornly believed it was enough for heating up the property. Because of inefficient heating system and cracks on walls, the property has damp and mould problems. Ryan told us to solve it by ourselves. Ryan said it is caused by us because we did not open windows everyday and dry wet cloths inside the property. The truth is we open windows everyday to get fresh air and bring wet cloths to another student property equipped with a tumble dryer to dry them (the tumble dryer here is broken). All in all, it takes Ryan months to deal with heating system and consequences caused by this problem. Ryan is really good at ignore emails, unless we make a phone call to him. Plus, Ryan is really good at brainwash tenants and make tenants think it’s their own fault because he said ‘Berkeley has managed these properties for years and never found these problems.’ We hope this comment can help you to decide whether to choose this agency. Bad experience all round, hard to contact and rude when you do. Clearly a landlords' company not a renters' company, just look at the reviews. If your deciding whether to rent here just look at the replies to other negative reviews. Always denying responsibility.... Read more
