Had such a good experience with Khian, he was knowledgeable, professional and has helped us find a new flat on a tight turnaround. He has really taken a lot of the stress away and kept clear communication the whole time which has been reassuring. Cleo has also been so helpful and prompt responding to email regarding the contract and in going above and beyond to make the process easy. Would definitely recommend using this team to help out given renting in Bristol can be so competitive.

Added the screenshot of section 21 before tenancy even signed as proof this company is lying!!! also taking legal action!!
The fact you lied about the 10 month contract ,, charged 5 weeks holding deposit which is illigal before referencing even commenced ,, and sneaked in a section 21 for me to sign before I even got the keys!! Then 6 days before the move changed the terms to 12k upfront!!
Then tried to blame it on the landlord your acting for,, dirty tactics by a bunch of crooks!!

Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience with this company when viewing a potential flat. I was booked in for a viewing which at no point was I told it would be a group viewing, me and several other people were all waiting outside in the rain to view a one bedroom flat. The flat anyway was very small which made viewing incredibly difficult with several others all crammed in. The property itself was very messy as a tenant was still living there, the property pictures listed originally on Rightmove weren’t the same as the property I viewed, granted they were very similar but certainly not the same property. They also included photos of a balcony in the original listing which wasn’t a part of the actual property, this was misleading. This particular property had a air conditioning unit in the ceiling, one of the people I was viewing with asked about this, the agent then said it wasn’t included in the rental agreement, this was strange as it was built into the ceiling. When questioned on why that was, the agent said the landlord refuses to fix it if it breaks so tenants are asked not to use it at all as it’s very temperamental. (To me this translates as it’s already broken and the landlord just refuses to spend any money to fix it) The property was also listed as having parking which turned out to be at extra cost not included in the rent. I feel this reflects badly on this particular landlord but also by association Harbourside property group. This left a sour taste in my mouth as reading some other poor reviews it seems tenant concerns and reports have been ignored on many occasions. Definitely enough red flags to put me off! Hopefully Harbourside property group can be more forthcoming when it comes to listings as well as viewings Thanks

Just very unprofessional and time wasters.
Had a viewing booked and the agent was on
(Nick) his phone the whole time. Me and 2 other tenants had to go in circles in the property ourselves and guess things. In the end he gave us his business without saying anything.
The other guy took a 2 hour train to get here and myself had to leave work to get here. It's understandable that personal incidents can happen but that can be COMMUNICATED so people don't have to waste their time.

My house sale was protracted with lots of obstacles and difficulty but Nick Worlock stuck in there where I feel others might have lost heart and kept me informed at every step and twist in the process.
Overall very please with the outcome Nick did a marvellous job and I would recommend to anyone wanting a personal touch as opposed to the corporate approach by larger organisations which serves no benefit in this day and age of internet browsing

Very nice experience with this letting team. They were always cooperative and understand the requirement . During our stay, we have not faced any issues and the property manager was quick enough to resolve the day to day housing issues. Post we left the house, they made sure to keep us updated on deposit and returned us within 10 days. Surely recommend them

Very unprofessional. Never answers the phone and he even misses the appointments for viewings. This agency should shut down immediately. The guy Nicholas is very rude. He never answers the phone but has time to reply to reviews and also call people and request them to remove their review. I have tried going to 2 viewings with him but he never showed up. I met Nick over a year ago when my husband and I were toying with the idea of selling our 1-bed flat in the Bristol City centre. Back then, we had valuations from different retail estate agencies and Nick from HPG stood out from the crowd with his straightforward, transparent and up to date valuation. Not only Nick was aware of the retail estate market's latest micro-trends withing various parts of the city, but also was able to convey in a simple and concise manner the benefits of (a) paying off our mortgage and selling vs (b) becoming landlords (BTL) by capitalising on our flat's central location.
Throughout the decision making process I appreciated the help provided by Nick in making sure my husband and I took the right decision for ourselves and our future. Once we decided to go the BTL/landlord route, Nick put us in contact with his brother, Robert of HPG, who was able to (1) advise us financially, (2) help with setting up the relevant insurances, and (3) opened his own network of tax advisors to us in order to help ease us into becoming landlords and purchasing our 2nd property. I can honestly say that my husband and I could not have asked for better service from Nick and Robert of HPG.
Our most recent experience was renting out our flat with HPG's help. Nick's connections and abilities to ensure a number of relevant viewings for our flat meant that within 1 day my husband and I had more than 10 suitable candidates as tenants to choose from, a significant number of which were able to pay the rent in advance meeting or going above the asking price! Moreover, within 2 weeks we had a happy tenant living in our flat while my husband and I had a great journey into becoming 1st time landlords thanks to HPG.
In a nutshell, I am grateful for meeting Nick and his brother Robert and pleased with their HPG business services.
If anyone is looking for honest, efficient and market competitive service, one should look no further than HPG and dare I say, try and support a family business over the allure of big brand names in the retail estate market.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Bullied me into renewing a tenancy contract for 12 months instead of 6, only to be told a week later that the landlord had sold the flat. Attempted to drop the keys off today on the final date of my tenancy and their shop is closed so I can’t even do this! Impossible to get hold of on the phone, lack of communication throughout. Avoid like the plague

Nick from HPG is the best property agent I've met in Bristol so far out of around 8 agents. He is very friendly, responsive, personable and helpful. He tries to know what we really wanted and updated us whenever he found a good match. The initial call, scheduling and viewing were all done by him and we got his phone number so there was no "lost in between" or awkward "automated voicemails". His company seems to be small in size but very focused on City Center area, especially on newly built apartments so the selection of flats are all well built and strategically located

This company is not to be trusted. Avoid. Robert Worlock, Managing Director, is happy to rent out properties that have a serious fire risk. I have correspondence from him admitting a fire risk and offering a refund on rent paid, but afterwards refusing to pay. He is a liar and untrustworthy.

I highly recommend working with this small, family run business. After a number of months of my flat being marketed with a large corporate estate agent (and no offers incoming), I switched to HPG. Nick was professional, straight-talking and very personal and personable from the outset, and an offer was made within 3 weeks of the listing going live. Despite complications with the sale as a result of a fire in the adjoining flat, Nick has been outstanding in his professionalism, keeping my buyer on board for over a year whilst repairs took place. I can't recommend him and the Harbourside Property Group enough - throughout the stress of selling a property in this market and with additional complications, Nick has provided sound advice and clear guidance on how best to manage the situation, and I am hugely grateful to have him managing my sale.

Needed to find a property in Central Bristol with very short notice back in 2017 and Harbourside suggested an excellent quality deluxe apartment in the City centre at a very reasonable price, which I ended up stayed on for far longer than I originally intended. They managed to finalise the details very quickly and have been helpful and professional ever since. especially during the start of the pandemic when plans changed very quickly.

Sadly unable to submit a Zero star review, as only that can adequately explain our experience with the property Agent.
We rented a property in 2017, admittedly our first time coming to Bristol, and we initially spotted problems soon soon after our move.
Firstly, all the paperwork was filled with errors, mistypes and frankly poor grammar. But most importantly, they got the address of the property wrong. I'm not talking a small typo, I mean the street name, building name and postcode where of something completely different. We first thought we were wrong or had made a mistake, but after checking with Royal Mail address listings and Council Tax Registeries, we took the correct info to the Letting Agent, who looked at us like we were crazy. Took them 2 years to get this changed.
3 Months into our Tenancy, water started coming out of our electrical sockets and outlets. We immediately notified them of the issue, and they did nothing. And I mean nothing, we had to get the building management to help us and get it fixed. They never inspected the property to check on this and wouldnt even provide us with alternative accommodation, a requirement under law and their own contract.
They sent "contractors" to our home without telling us or giving us due notice, also illegal and completely in breach of contract.
They fail to carry out safety checks, such as boiler and electrical inspections, which highlights how much they care about the safety of their tenants.
They will raise your rent, for no reason other than "inflation" and yet they cant seem to actually mathematically calculate what this is.
We unfortunately stayed a year longer at that property than we would have liked, as Covid hit us and unfortunately put our financial future into question.
You would think that once we found a new place to live, this would be the end of it, but you would be wrong.
They attempted to charge us for professional cleaning, which is illegal under new Tenancy laws.
They made a claim of £200 of our deposit for "dusty skirting board" and "some crumbs inside the oven". We contested this and luckily the DPS Dispute Reolution saw the ridiculous of this claim and did not award them this.
These Agents are fraudsters, liars and quite simply imcompetent. They will try to use the system against you, and will only cause you stress and grief.

These reports account for various electrical and structural failures at the property, which as you can see we reported as required by all tenants.
I'm sure the landlord is quite happy with your service, seeing as we paid our rent on time and everytime without fault for 4 years, despite all the issues, and you likely never told them of these anyways.
If you like I can also post the email correspondence your management STAFF (not girls, they're professional adults and perfectly able to take criticism, so please don't gender stereotype) sent us that involved asking for payment for professional cleaning, and their inability to change and correct the address for 2 years. I would also be upset if my incompetence was called out, but I do my job well and honestly so no comparison really.
If you're still confused by the review, I can also post videos of the water ingress I mentioned and photos of your claim to DPS for £200 you tried to get for dusty skirting boards.
Hope you have a better year as well learning from this feedback.
Avoid this company, they are radioactive.

Buying and selling is in the top 5 stressful life events! As a single person, with my family living far away, I felt quite overwhelmed by selling. Having Nick from Harbourside Properties by my side was amazing. He guided me through every step of the process, and no question was too big or too small. I felt he was there whenever I needed. He got back to my emails, messages or phone calls promptly, even once on a Sunday on his day off! It was my first time dealing with an estate agent and I knew they got a bad wrap and the butt of many jokes. Nick was such a lovely man, genuine and reassuring and I felt I could trust him from the outset. Trust is vital in a process as huge as buying and selling.
Harbourside Property Group is a smaller independent company and because they are not a huge chain they can and do give a very individual, professional and high quality service.

We recently sold our house through Nick at Harbourside property. Our sale was delayed for many months due to various issues, (not estate agents) but we were so grateful in the end to have Nick be our agent.
When things don’t go to plan,it is always concerning, but I can happily say that Nick was with us all through these difficulties.
Whether it be a simple check-in on progress or his help in explaining the nuances of a situation, Nick was excellent throughout the entire process. His explanations and insight were worth their weight in gold. Will definitely use again even if it’s to know that he won’t ghost us when things get tough.

Honestly the best experience I've had with estate agents, from seeing so many houses as was looking to buy, and also from renting over the years. We had Nick overseeing the purchase of our house, he checked in with us and the solicitors when it was necessary throughout the whole process. I dealt with Nick who is one of the family member of this business. He was very professional in dealing with renting the property and found me an excellent tenant for the smallest studio in Clifton. They organised viewings in a COVID safe way and also introduced the tenant in to the property. I have dealt with many agents and Nick was excellent.
In my opinion family run business, they give their heart and soul to the customers rather than a corporate agents who are just behind getting their share.

I could not recommend this family business enough. We had a remorgage of our house done together with insurance, and they really did a great saving package. We also needed a valuation of our house and we were provided it with some helpful advice regarding selling and/or renting of the property. They are very efficient and quick whenever we have a query. If only 0 stars was an option, Absolutely awful. I Do not recommend this estate agent to anyone! Me and my Dad took a day off work to view 3 properties, this one being the first. We booked an appointment at 10:30 in the morning to view a property along the harbour-side. We arrived promptly at the estate agents at 10:20. The two workers were both talking to each other as we walked in. I explained we had a viewing at 10:30. The Lady said ‘ oh that one was already soled over the weekend’ (bare in mind today is a Monday so they had plenty of time to inform us that the viewing was cancelled. I said when did you open, they said 8/9am (2 hours before hand) and they didn't bother to inform us! I asked to speak with the manager, the manager was right there. All he said was ‘sorry’ and had nothing else to say when I said ‘ why didn’t you inform us before hand if you were open at 8/9AM! This is a VERY unprofessional service. I am Extremely disappointed, I have lost money from taking time off work, I own a business and a complete WASTE OF MY TIME.

So unprofessional! The agents don't even know which properties are still on the market. They reply to emails by copy and paste older emails which are not answering your enquiry and they have a bad attitude. I got told by two agents that I can rent a property without a viewing and two days later the manager told me that renting a flat without a viewing is not possible. There is definetly a lack of communication and organization between the staff! Well, a landlord who trusted Harbourside Property Group to rent their property just mised a tenant!

Short story:
- maybe good for landlords

- totally wrong details for letting flats
Long story:
The contact with them is TERRIBLE! I've never get quick response for any of my email or call - for most of the time I needed to send 2-3 times the same email to get any response from them. When I needed to change details of my deposit, the agency has done nothing for 3 months.
When I was moving out from the flat, agency provided wrong floorplan and the whole flat on the plan was much bigger. EPC was also incorrect and it was different by 20 (65 vs 85 it's a pretty big different!). Of course, there was no information provided about "around" details, so I assume agency didn't even notice wrong details about the flat. This is definitely a red flag for landlords.
I chatted about it with my landlady and she got totally different opinion about the agency, so I guess the agency doesn't care at all about tenants, but is trying to keep landlords in comfortable position.
Watch out on the opening hours! On the Google Maps are wrong hours and it's not open between 9am till 5pm, Monday-Friday, but it's 10am till 5pm Monday-Saturday! I came once just after 9am to be able catch train to Bath and I saw closed office and I lost my time for walking to the office.

The lady who had organised it decided not to turn up since and offer had been made the previous day. She failed to make me aware of this so wasted half an hour of my day walking across Bristol.

This estate agency has definitely been the worst that I found in my life. The guys in charge of the letting service has been incredibly rude and unprofessional. First time I booked a viewing for a property and nobody came to show me the house. I tried to contact the number provided by the agency 5 times and after 30 minutes but nobody answered me. I waited 40 minutes in front of the property (It was the right one because they gave me the full post code and the name of the house) and then I gave up completely disappointed because, in order to view this house, I had to delete others appointment booked for the same day. The next day I called them to have some explaination but the same guy aswered me by the phone saying that he was there, outside the house, and probably I was in the wrong one and when I tried to explain him that I was sure about the place he closed the call. Second time I arranged a viewing for a property located in the center of Bristol and they told me to come in their office first. Unfortunately I had some difficulties to find the office, which was really close to me (1 minute by walk), I was in time and I immediately call them to explain that I was in the street and asking where exactly the office was. The same guy aswered me and said that HE DIDN'T KNOW where the office was and then he interrupted the call. So, I REALLY WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS ESTATE AGENCY EVEN TO MY WORTS ENEMY!

Unprofesional agency..as soon as they got paid they ignored our calls and emails.not to mention that they charged us £20 extra to what was mentioned in the receipt which we knew about later... Then after receiving the apartment it was filthy so we had to buy stuff to clean it which took us days and around £200 especially the dirty carpet..we signed for 2 tenants but only received 1 key set and after calling a couple of times and going in person to their office they managed to give us another key almost a month later...there are some things that needs maintenance but like I said we sent them emails at the beginning of our tenancy period a month ago but no one replied.. I can raise a complain to a trade body or trading standards but right now I'm too busy with uni stuff....

I had a shower emergency in my flat and contacted Harbourside Bristol immediately. They were incredibly patient, understanding and professional despite my frustration and escalated the process to ensure that my shower was fixed ASAP. When I first came to the house everything was broken - fridge, fume cupboard, sink, shower door... In the end of my tenancy I asked for my DPS deposit back and they sad that I have to pay for the checkout - £90!!! I am still waiting for the remaining amount of money and no body answers my phone calls or emails!!! Be very careful because they will take your money and then get away!!!

Went there with full time job and many references, after paid their fees they gave me an expensive flat which was very filthy, I couldn't even spend one night there, so I paid an hostel and deep clean the whole flat by myself, then I realized there is no balcony no dryer...ok: let's use the washing machine, BROKEN. Since the landlady was a ghost I needed to fix it by myself!
Sometimes I could't even sleep because the fire alarm was crazy and I risked an heart attack for that.
When I decided to move from there the landlady delayed a lot to give my deposit back and she always ignored our messages, NEVER took my calls. So I decided to speak with the Harbourside Property Group about all this but they simply ignored me every single time, even the manager.
All they did is to start spamming their ads on my email... that just reminds me to don't go there anymore in my life and I moved from Bristol because I have horrible memories there thanks to this WONDERFUL TEAM OF HARBOURSIDE PROPERTY GROUP.
Seriously, Gumtree is still a better option than this useless agency!

I was very impressed by the work of Harbourside Property Group from start to finish. They did everything they said they would, including selling my property within the first week of it being on the market. Nick Worlock worked very hard on my behalf and kept in touch during the whole selling process. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly use them again myself in the future.

Beware this agency - Paid them a deposit of £474 on 17th Sept for a Student house share for my Son and 4 of his friends after they advised that the house didn't require a HMO (license for multiple occupation). Following intervention by council enforcement officers the Landlord withdrew the property on the 19th September and they advised me my fee would be returned. It's now 29th September and they haven't returned my deposit and my emails and calls to request clarification have not been returned.
