We used Louise Patterson at Blackadders recently to update our wills and put powers of attorney in place. Louise was efficient, quick to respond and made the whole process easy to understand. It's a relief to know that we now have appropriate instructions in place, and Louise was brilliant at guiding us through. I required their services following a road accident and from the initial contact all staff were friendly, polite and professional. I dealt mostly with Richard Godden who kept me informed of progress on a regular basis, set out probable timescales and costs at the beginning and was approachable at all times. Purchasing residential property through Blackadder???? Think again...... I purchased 2 commercial property with this company and to be honest Fraser was pretty good. I then used them to purchase a residential property and got the new girl. So on the day of the missives concluding turns out that it was impossible to go through due to very major oversights on Blackadders behalf. So after alot of groveling to the seller and a change to a competent residential solicitor firm I can confirm I did purchase the property with absolutely no thanks to Blackadders. If you dont want to lose out on your property do not use this firm!... Read more
