We've been subject to some quite unethical practice by the agents at Burnet Ware. We viewed a great property with Angie at 5pm on a Tuesday and immediately told her we we wanted it. Looking to long let the property, offering the full asking rent and 12 months payment in advance! We wanted to send our offer right away. Angie did not allow us to, telling us she would call us in the morning to get it in writing. We were first through the door, but she allowed the next viewer to offer a higher amount of rent on the property and send their offer in writing that night to "outbid" us with a higher rent payment pcm. Claimed she "doesn't do bidding wars" when speaking with me on the phone, in which case, why was our offer not submitted right away as the first viewers? Really bad and unfair practice going on here driving up rents so beware if you are looking to let via this company you will end up having to pay over the odds.

If I could give a negative score I would. Very rude and unprofessional staff! Takes a looooong time to respond to repairs. The contractor wouldn't even give a notice if he's coming or not.

Ben Warren has been a pleasure to do business with from the get-go. He saw the potential in my late mother's less-than-snazzy retirement flat, offered a very competitive rate for his services and was proactive, super helpful and good-humoured throughout the process of selling it, which turned out to be lengthy through no fault of any of ours. Wherever he could he made contact with all parties necessary to speed up the process. He was well-informed, communicative and always a step ahead. He more than earned his fee and I would recommend him unconditionally.

The carpet in our living room had been damaged by the previous tenants so we asked Burnet Ware if they could replace them for us. They got back to us straight away and sent out the carpet layers to measure up, and within a week the new carpet was laid! Angie let us pick from a range of colours, and the carpet team were quick and did a fantastic job. Excellent service all round from Burnet Ware!

Burnet Ware, and especially Angie, has been absolutely brilliant since we moved in. They've been really understanding of our needs, have responded quickly with any issues within the flat (things like boiler call-outs and washing machine repairs), have got us out of a pickle when we locked ourselves out of the flat on a Saturday afternoon and came round with a spare set of keys, and have been always been lovely and professional to chat to both in the office and over the phone. It's a shame to leave the property (we're only leaving due to purchasing elsewhere) but I would highly recommend them for value, communication and overall professionalism.

I would like to thank Rosi Thorn, ( 13 Half Moon Lane London) right from the start she was friendly on first meeting, when I viewed the property I did not feel rushed and she answered every question I needed at the time, I was lucky enough to be able to rent the property I am in now, definitely the right choice for me.
Rosi continued to be professional and very friendly and put me at ease with all the questions I asked whilst going through the checks, She is an asset to your company and a pleasure to talk too.

Having friends who have used them to sell their properties; and as a tenant in one of their properties for over 3 years, and having had dealings with them for that period regarding several issues with the property, I can safely say the following: DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS TO EITHER RENT OR SELL YOUR PROPERTY, AND CERTAINLY NOT BECOME A TENANT WITH THEM!
The agent who showed us around actually told us several bare-faced lies about and completely mis-sold the property and its features. I had accidentally left my Gopro on my bike helmet still recording and actually therefore have a video record of his lies.
As a tenant, actually getting them to sent out a 'tradesman' to fix something was akin to winning the lottery, and the quality of work by most of the guys they send out was beyond shoddy and certainly incompetent. They have no inclination to fix anything at the property, major or minor, even dangerous things. Fortunately we haven't been without electric or hot water yet, goodness knows what would happen if we were.
The electrics and the building wasn't even signed off until we were living there for two years!
Utterly incompetent lazy feckless scumbags. Shouldn't be allowed to operate as a lettings agent tbh - in any other industry they would have been struck off.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! You have been warned.

Only one good agent at the company that was able to aid me which was Ryan. The rest were quiet obnoxious and rude. Very unreasonable also. Wish I had to only deal with one agent but as a small company they clearly don’t value their reputation enough.

Ben Warren was the estate agent in our recent purchase, and was the most responsive + considerate person in the process. He kept on top of things, making the process take as fast as possible. On top of this, he helped resolve a last minute misunderstanding about what was included in the sale - without him, there was a chance of the sale falling through!

Burnet Ware sold my property within two weeks of it being on the market. The sale took less than three months to complete which was surprising given the huge backlog due to the Stamp Duty holiday.
Ben was great, always on the end of a phone to answer any questions. He was friendly and professional and the sale progressed with ease.
I would recommend Burnet Ware to anyone wishing to sell their property.

My goodness this company has just provided me with exceptional service from the start. I made an enquiry about a property on their website and was called back the next morning by a very professional advisor called Ryan Rowley. I was then booked into a viewing on the same day and met an outstanding Property Agent, Katy Hudson who is so professional and knowledgeable, and she got the process started quickly once I accepted the property. Burnet & Ware carry out seamless reference checks, mine took a day, and I now have a whole weight lifted off my shoulders.
This company are not like other more greedier letting agents who ask for so much money just to move in, or who mess you about. The icing on the cake is their properties are well managed, secure and beautiful I am genuinely impressed, thank you Katy Hudson for your time and effort it has meant a lot to me at a very stressful time. God bless you people. Thank you a million times ??

I have been renting my property from Burnett Ware for almost 9 years now, they have always gone above and beyond to assist me with all aspects of my rented property. However, this time they have completely surpassed all expectations when my boiler broke down - the plumber came out to me on Christmas Day when there were a few issues and this week the boiler completely shut down :( The team at Burnett and Ware ensured that I was supplied with a temporary heater, I had access to a vacant property whereby I was able to keep myself clean and most importantly they were all there for me during my tears and kept me calm throughout. I couldn't recommend this estate agents enough.

I have been a landlord for many years and after working with a couple of management agencies was delighted to find Burnet Ware who have now managed my properties for over 15 years.
The Letting and Accounts teams work well together and provide a professional and friendly service. They care about my tenants and support the tenant and landlord equally. This is very important to me.
Emails are responded to quickly and I'm always kept informed of any developments at my properties.
I would not hesitate to recommend Burnet Ware to anyone looking to rent or an owner looking for a managing agent. They really are the best.
I'm very grateful for all the support I have received over the years, you are like family now!

Avoid this company!!!
I have never come across anything like that before.
From the beginning of the tenancy we kept receiving wrong Bill's and they said they would sort it out.
Nothing happened.
It was me and my flatmate doing their job.
Furthermore, they have not given the energy company the update about the reading meter which means oir bill has been increased without our knowledge.
The electricity has also been turned off twice in the whole house for multiple hours and no one has ever been informed.
This company needs to shut down.
What the hell are you guys doing all day?
I have not seen ANY performance from ou guys yet.

I've rented with Burnet Ware for almost 9 years. I've always considered myself very lucky to have a professional agent to deal with but also to experience the unique quality of a sales and lettings team who really care about me and my circumstances. I've personally never had to wait more than a few days for an issue to be resolved and all of the team are friendly and helpful. I wish there were a few more letting agents with the same high standards.

Useless - on the day the posted a new flat on the market I called the agency and they said that would have called me back to schedule a viewing.
never heard from them. Call them again twice - emailed them - called them once again and they told me that the flat was gone already.

I've asked to get a landlords reference from them now that I have to move out, but they said they would not give me one since I'm only a permitted occuppier, even though I've lived there for one and a half years. And in order for me to switch from a permitted occuppier to a tenant I need to move out and clear the house so they can do inventory, only then I can apply for a new contract. Where would I live in the meantime? What a joke! They do not care about the tenants at all, stay away!
