Our sale was managed by Jamie Crowder at first and then Priyesh Barot, with no real explanation as to where Jamie went. Priyesh and his colleagues repeatedly gave misinformation to our buyer, — told her we had no chain when we'd made it clear we were buying a flat (which was chain free — perhaps that was the confusion, but it's really not complicated!), then told her we were happy to leave it vacant before we'd completed our purchase (also not true). This cause us much stress as we were worried she might pull out, as we knew KFH would make it seem like our fault to her. Then — the final straw! — told her on completion day that we were out and gave her the keys before we had finished and locked up! She literally turned up WHILE WE WERE CLEANING. Hugely embarrassing, but luckily she was reasonable and had only turned up to drop a few things and then move in later. KFH were more expensive than their service warranted. They did get our flat sold in the end, but after we'd already gone with another agent due to lack of activity from them. The sale only happened because of a previously interested party losing another purchase elsewhere and coming back to ours after we'd gone to another agent. Considered giving 2 stars as they were friendly, but these are really basic things that needn't have happened, hence just 1 star — there is no need to mislead buyers just to tell them what they want to hear. It only creates stress and frustration when the truth then appears.... Read more

From we moved to the flat we asked them to find a solution with the windows, beacuse the was in the 9th floor and near to the river in Woolich and the winter was terrible we could hear how thw wind entered in the flat. They sent three “handy mans” in different time and all of them said the same, the landord needed to change the windows. They never found a solution. After the flat had oudor from the pipes, we asked them a plumber because the pipes had a structural problem and they send a plumber who asked them £300 for one hour so they decided to sent us the invoice for we paid it. We refuse because they never checked if the plumber made the work (the plumber wanted to earn for 3 hours when he was only 1 hour), but didn’t mind. I was lucky becuase I asked my neighbour stay in my flat while the plumber was there. Finally they are threatening me because if I do not contract a cleaning company before handing them over the department they could keep part of my deposit, it is as if they are forcing me to spend yes or yes on professional cleaners, even asking me to send them the proof we contract that cleaning company.... From start to finish of the process of selling my flat I was hugely impressed with the service provided by Acorn Kennington: By the time I had got my, previously ridiculously cluttered, flat ready to place on the market circumstances had changed considerably from when (a couple of years ago) my late partner and I had first wanted to embark on the process of selling. I found myself in a situation of likely needing a cash buyer for a smooth and swift sale. The Acorn Kennington Team - from office manager Adam to the agents dealing with the viewings, Godefroy & Sophie - worked what seemed like constant overtime doing viewing after viewing, finding me that cash buyer within what almost amounted to just days. The whole process was carried out with professionalism, attention to detail and great sensitivity regarding the fact that this was a process I should originally have been going through with my late (unexpectedly and prematurely departed) partner. From ensuring my indoor-only cat didn’t get out - by administering ‘treats’ - to being willing to make certain that completion took place in good time before the anniversary of my bereavement, they bent over backwards for me from start to finish. I have experienced Terry Ellingham and here is my review; Terrance 'Terry' Obsidian Darkplace Ellingham is more of a concept than a man, much like the notion of ownership, the seasons of the year or the feeling of regret. Many say that 'Terry' is legal term like 'mortgage', 'foreclosure' or 'Guzumping'. What I know is this; I had merely looked up the word 'house' in a dictionary whilst standing within a mile of the Clapham branch of KFH and the next thing I knew I was putting a weighty deposit down on three bed bungalow near Battersea. 'So what does this beast of upward mobility look like?' I hear you quiver from behind your sofa. Well.... some say that Terry is measured at almost 15 hands high and makes a loud whooping noise when turned on his back. Others measure Terry in storeys and cite his listing in the Domesday book and the Magna Carta as proof that his seemingly unquenchable thirst for property has existing since the big bang and can only be satisfied when the last property has been sold. Rumour has it that if you say 'Terry Ellingham' three times into a mirror your house will automatically be listed on Right Move. A pensioner in Highgate claims to have found what she thought were burglars downstairs after trying this. They were merely prospective buyers already on a viewing! The pensioner in question lives some 8.2miles out of KFH Clapham's catchment area.... but Terry knows no barriers, he snaps them like a KitKat and gobbles them up before washing them down with a steaming hot cup of Lucozade. Legend has it that every time a property sells Terry changes to his next form. Some say that his final form will be a Scout Hut in Croydon. So, in conclusion; I'd recommend Terry Ellingham....
