I don't normally leave reviews but this company is very unprofessional. I have contacted them on 4 separate occasions about renting an office in Cardiff and Newport and no one has responded. On 3 occasions I sent emails that have never been replied to. The 4th occasion I called and was told that I would be contacted for a viewing on Monday, but I was never called back. These offices are still up for rent. I will never use this company.... Read more

Gianni made sure I was updated with anything that was arranged for the new window. And within a month the window guy came and installed the new window with the latest function. Thank you.... As a newly appointed Property Manager at Cooke & Arkwright in Cardiff, it was somewhat a baptism by fire when Giancarlo Arrighi (Gianni) was faced with a probable major apartment block lift outage during his first week in the post. Besides the need to work with external resource to resolve such issues, I think it is important to ensure that owners and residents are given regular updates regarding the situation. In this way, frustrations are minimised, expectations are provided and people can see that they are not forgotten. We contacted cooke & Arkwright after receiving our Business Rates bill, as after the re-evaluation of our business increased by more than double on the 2022-3 bill. We have worked with them previously (2019) and had been impressed with the outcome, so thought that they would be the people to talk to this time. I contacted Cooke & Arkwright and spoke to someone called Will,(Charlie who we had dealt with previously no longer works there) who said he would have a look and be in contact with us within 7 days. The over 7 days passed and no response from Will (either by phone or email), so I called was put through to a lady called Jane (Will apparently was on Holiday). She said she would look into the issue after checking Will emails as he hadn't passed, the information/case onto any of his colleges. After a couple of hours Jane called and asked if I could send her all the information I had sent Will and all the historic forms and info we had sent Charlie back in 2019, as she couldn't find any of it in their records. Luckily we still had all the emails and details from dealing with Charlie. I email Jane all of the relevant and requested information and received a call from her an hour later. Which I found odd as it was going to take Will 7 days to go through everything. The call was to say there was nothing they could help us with. I did try to talk this through with Jane but got the impression she wasn't very interested and quite frankly bored of the conversation so we ended the call. As I don't really know much about the complexities of the Business rates system, so I called her again and passed the conversation over to my partner who had dealt with Charlie previously and has a lot more knowledgable of these things than I do. However he to didn't get very far with Jane, who told him "that she wasn't getting paid to discuss this" and then hung up on him. This was either because she will only speak to someone if there is some form of monetary gain in it for her or she was being homophobic. We may never know. Either way her response to our query was extremely rude, unhelpful and shows an extremely poor standard of customer services, which puts Cooke & Arkwright in an extremely poor light and there is no way I could now recommend them to do business with based on the totally unprofessional attitude shown by Jane....
