I have been renting privately for many years now and my recent experience with Cooper and Tanner has been perfect! From the viewing to collecting my keys everything has gone like clockwork.
The Good Lord app for referencing is excellent too. I completed the online form at 9pm and my referencing checks were completed within hours.

We have finally completed our sale of our property and we couldn't be more pleased with Cooper and Tanner in Glastonbury.
We had our house for sale with a different agent 18 months earlier at a lower price and had a very little number viewings. We ended up taking it off the market as a result.
Obviously the market moves forward, but Cooper and Tanner got us a much better price and we had what felt like a constant stream of viewings.
The feedback was always given very quickly and the level of communication throughout the sale has been superb. We often found out information from C&T before our solicitors had informed us and they did a great job of chasing everyone else up and keeping us all in the loop.
We're hoping not to sell for quite a while now, but if we did we would certainly use Cooper and Tanner again without any hesitation.

In my experience, Cooper and Tanner are exceptional agents. I actually had no idea that estate agency could be this good! The team at Cooper and Tanner have opened my eyes to what is possible, to what excellent agents actually do. They have gone above and beyond even my highest expectations and hopes.
Looking for an agent, I got four valuations and with them, quotes from each agent for their services. Two agencies offered a lower rate and one matched Cooper & Tanner. The branch manger assured me that he and his team were worth the money and he was absolutely right!!! I am so glad I chose them - best decision I could have made without a doubt.
I’ve been very lucky to have an exceptional key contact, great support from the beach manger when it was needed and excellent service from the whole team. Every member of the Glastonbury Office staff has been reliable, efficient, personable, kind and patient. They make a priority of getting to know their clients and developing relationships based on honesty and understanding.
They found a great buyer very quickly and secured a good price which, I believe, both the buyers and I felt was fair. And we successfully completed the sale precisely when both parties needed to, in no small part, thanks to C&T’s diligence, efficiency, positive attitude and problem solving skills! The process was not straightforward due to constraints on both my side and that of the buyers but the team at Cooper & Tanner worked hard to keep it all on track and to overcome every obstacle. The support C&T offer was unexpected and very welcome.
I have also had contact with members of C&T teams at other locations and they too have been excellent.
I can very highly recommend Cooper & Tanner and I feel they are worth every single penny they earned from the sale.

Phoned as serious cash buyer about a property. Asking about ownership and covenants in relation to shared access and maintenance of area leading to property and others nearby. Did not have this info at all bar “there’s no management arrangement” which was put as a positive as it would ‘cost nothing’ (no recognition that this could also cause huge issues about access, parking, repair and dumping), and never returned call with requested information despite this being something the land title might cover in respect of covenants - and something the existing owner’s legal advisors would have had to dealt with on their purchase. An interested buyer put off!

Horrendous to deal with from a first time buyers perspective. Extremely rude and condescending on the telephone. They don't take property off the market after offer acceptance and will continue to market it. They don't honour deadlines set by themselves, opening the property up to other offers only 2 weeks after offer acceptance. Absolutely no patience. Communication is appalling. They assume that if you put an offer in you cant afford it even if your financial adviser tells them otherwise. Why would I spend almost 1k organising surveyors, solicitors, and mortgage, and why would I make an offer on a property I have no intention of buying? If you are unfortunate enough to deal with them make sure you get all communication and agreements in writing so they cant go back on themselves. Horrible.
