We recently made our Wills and POAs with Dallas McMillan. I chose them as my Trade Union has a deal for free Wills but we also wanted our POAs done and using the same firm for both was ideal.
Katie, the solicitor we dealt with, provided fantastic service making sure we understood everything and answered all our questions about the process. Throughout the process she was friendly and very professional.
We'd have no issues using Dallas McMillan again for any legal services we require in future and would thoroughly recommend them.

They were incredibly helpful to me while I was managing the will and estate of an elderly relative who was suffering from senility and later passed away. Joyce was empathetic, understanding, and diligent throughout the entire process.
Joyce's professionalism made a complex situation easy to understand and manage. She went above and beyond to ensure I understood every requirement, and her thorough and reliable approach ensured all key tasks were completed efficiently. She helped us manage Power of Attorney from Scotland with banks in Ireland, which could have been very challenging, but Joyce's professionalism helped me manage this seamlessly. Additionally, she handled paying suppliers, managing bank accounts across Ireland and Scotland, and comprehensive legal documents.

I asked Dallas McMillan to negotiate an exit package with my employer instead of taking them to a tribunal. I specifically insisted on this when I initially spoke with them on the phone. Dallas McMillan quoted me £300 for consultation and a letter to be sent to my employer. It was regarding several issues, including discrimination and unlawful deduction of wages.
Dallas McMillan reassured me this is not a problem on the phone and by email.
After our agreement, there was very little help offered. It felt like Dallas McMillan did not want to go the extra mile and instead turned me down. They insisted I wasn't treated differently and I shall go through the grievance process at work. I have mentioned already that a grievance process was not previously successful and I have lost trust in my employer.
There was enough evidence to back up all of my issues.
What I find strange is one of the solicitors at Dallas McMillan said they would not represent me at the employment tribunal. I have never asked them to do so. I have asked for a letter to be drafted and sent in my name. This is what they promised.
Note this wasn't a no-win-no-fee agreement.
I believe that if such a letter was sent to my employer it would give them a chance to take my issues seriously.
Instead, Dallas McMillan made false promises. They were happy to take the payment without any prior quick consultation.
This shows very little experience on Dallas McMillan side. Please do not promise things you cannot fulfil.

We had a very good service from our solicitor, Yvonne, during our recent sale and purchase of our property. This was all carried out during Covid restrictions but it was business as usual for Dallas McMillan and thankfully still enabled us to stay abreast of any matters arising. I have known the practice for many years and I and my family have used DMM services which we have all been very satisfied with especially when the staff are very personable.

We used Dallas McMillan for our house purchase and the service was fantastic. Initially, Terence took time to explain key parts of the process to us as we are first time buyers and had no idea of myriad of potential issues. Terence distilled this in an easy to understand way.
Then Christine picked up our case and was fantastic throughout. Responsive to emails, polite, happy to answer all queries no matter how inane.

We started the process of buying our first home with Dallas McMillan prior to the pandemic, with no prior knowledge of the house buying process, where Dallas McMillan were always on hand for support and direction providing expert advice.
During lockdown (2019) some of the other parties we were dealing with in the house buying process we uncontactable, but Dallas McMillan where there for us, reassuring us on the processes and keeping us informed in these unprecedented times, where we truly felt like we were in it together.
We have since moved in to our house and can't thank Dallas McMillan enough for all of the help, support and guidance throughout.

I turned to this law firm for help two and a half years ago, after I was the victim of dental negligence.
They were typically very slow. I constantly had to phone and e-mail them in order to get things moving. In the end, I received a low value out of court settlement, after two and a half years of fighting for compensation. I wouldn’t use this law firm again.

Didn't register a mass equal pay claim with a tribuneral then settled with the employer, who cut many genuine claiments out with fabricated nonsense.
Dallas and McMillan lost people thousands in equal pay in the process of not registering, and showed little interest in properly appealing on behalf of legitimate claiments.

I was represented by one of their lawyers in an employment tribunal , i was not prepared properly by him he was not prepared properly and he was supposed to have cancelled the tribunal. It now turns out he has not stopped the tribunal process . NOT A VERY PROFFESIONAL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH
