This agent went to a lot of trouble to keep me up to date with what was happening up and down the chain right through to the end. I was determined to use a local agent with local knowledge and was very pleased with the contact I had with all staff. Due to personal reasons I had chosen the worst time to put my house on the market but they did not give up and tried different selling techniques until we got the right sale.

David Evans sold my property at a slow time of year, within just two weeks. I got above asking price, and I attribute that to the pictures, description and service provided. They also dealt with all my queries quickly and were good at communicating with all parties, and chasing solicitors, as so often required. Have recommended to friends and family and would absolutely use them again.

Throughout a pretty challenging sale (our buyers were based overseas which added time, complications, and perhaps different expectations), David Evans were really supportive, keeping us informed of developments at our buyers' end. I feel like we went through a lot together!

Looking back, I'm still unsure whether pushing back more against our buyers' demands and pushing them to speed things up at their end would have changed the ultimate outcome of the price we sold for and the date we moved, but as noted, I suspect selling to buyers based in the States contributed to this.

David Evans in Eltham sold a house for me in April 2015 (the sale completed in August). Their marketing advice was bang on the money, and the office staff were extremely polite and efficient. I never had to wait long for the phone to be answered, and they were exemplary in coordinating buyers, tenants and lawyers and keeping everybody informed.
