Its a really lovely place to stay. Vibrant and cozy. The staff are also really pleasant and helpful; especially Phedon, Fatima, Andrea, Ivan , Sara, Chantel and many others. However, I have had a problem with my door lock for over 6 months and this causes a real inconvenience for me.... Read more

AVOID AT ALL COST! Unite just tries to pry on international students who do not know what they're getting into. Definitely not worth the price, the rooms from the street side are extremely noisy too and the kit hens are absolutely tiny, especially for minimum of 6 people in a flat , they stopped offering the cleaning service this year too so they check every week if the kitchen is clean and if it's not perfectly clean they fine each flat ( sometimes as much as 50£ ) even though one of your flatmates might have done the mess! The bathrooms are all wet rooms so the water goes everywhere and you can not leave anything inside anyway and the lack of living rooms in the flats is a shame since the common room in the building is as small as non existent. Additionally the staff is super rude and notoriously misplaced the deliveries. One if my Amazon boxes was even in the return to seller pile even though it was properly adressed to me.... Read more

For 250 pounds a week, this accommodation is well below average. Everytime I took a shower, the bathroom leaked, the staff do not enforce the courtyard rules properly at night which means that the noise is unbearable. One can barely sleep. Their primary priority seems to be to extract money from you. They really don't care much about anything else. On the plus side it's in a great location and the rooms have potential. DO NOT STAY HERE! YOU CAN FIND MUCH BETTER PLACES TO STAY FOR THIS PRICE! - There is a big problem with mice throughout the building which wasnt solved and still isnt over 7 months later. There were mice in people's rooms, toilets and kitchens! There are also constant fly infestations throughout the building which is disgusting and the team are slow to respond to these pest issues. - The heaters and boilers breakdown VERY OFTEN! I had it breaking down on the morning of my exam and during the evening/night so it is impossible to work in a freezing cold room and had to have cold showers a number of times. - Additionally, noise insulation is awful - you can hear everything. - I had a room looking out into the courtyard and if I left my window open my room stank of cigarettes within minutes so you can not leave it open. - The staff impose bogus charges of up to £50 per person for what they determine to be an unclean kitchen when in reality it is just a few crumbs on the table that someone forgot to wipe - just another way for them to make money.... Courtyard is closed past 11pm. Never mentioned this on the website. If you want a cigarette past this time you will need to stand on the street, where many different kinds of people may be walking past...... Read more
