When it came to putting the property on the market Howard Cundey took great pictures, created a brochure and also took a very nice video. Terrible estate agency! My grandmother’s experience has been absolutely terrible. The estate agent We have has a kind , sweet and bubbly mannerism however she has not done her job properly at all! I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in Howard Cundeys service so far but i am not in the least bit surprised! On more than one occasion my nan being vulnerable due to health issues has been asked to do viewings herself by our estate agent who ‘cant make the viewing’ and when confronted about mixed messages our estate agent was very rude about this. Our house has been on the market since January and we have hardly had anyone interested and have even been advised by our agent to drop the price which was not the best move to make as this is a last resort to take! Howard Cundey has taken my grandmothers money and done nothing in her favour! Very very disappointed!... Read more

Tried to sell our property with this agent. Sales staff changed every couple of weeks and will tell you lies about who's interested. They don't seem to have a clue what they are doing. Tried to charge me for a floor plan !... Read more

Being an Agent myself I know how things work. This office has its great moments but sadly a lot of the time has its bad moments. Communications is poor, information given is dreadful and inaccurate. We were due to complete before Christmas and completed 2 months afterwards because people in the office didn't listen and information relayed was wrong and false to such a point nothing was done for the first 6 weeks we were under offer(despite us being told it was being done). I have lost a lot of money due to this and will never forgive them for this. Was such a shame because when I first got them round the impression was fantastic. Never judge a book by its cover clearly. Very disappointing end to living in such a lovely first home with my wife and son but onwards and upwards to better things and agents hopefully.... Read more

Very unprofessional. Couldn’t even be bothered to tell us if an offer had been accepted. When calling the next day we got “Oh yes, it’s a no! “. Then when I asked why I wasn’t contacted I got told “ We did didn’t we!” Staff need customer service training. Manager was apologetic.... Read more

A concerning experience buying with Howard and cundey last year. Buying our house we had to call mulitiple times to get things moving/done even on day of move. Highly stressful no one bar us was organised. Selling it a year later it was valued far less than other estate agents we had in buy a good £20,000k. Maybe the reason property sells too quickly because owners are not getting the full worth of their house. It was under valued when we purchased it ourselves. Regardless of when you buy a property, prices in this area have gone up. Price goes up when works done and should be consistent with similar houses in the area and at least the same road! You cant value 2 well presented houses next to each other both very similar at £25,000k difference. I dont know how they value. Stats probably obtained online before coming to value. Who knows! This cost them selling our property because they lacked confidence in the market and our house. We was never on the same page sadly. Nevermind.... Read more
