Choosing an agency is the first hurdle and most importantly to me was that I engaged with the team on a level and trusted them and the process. I connected with Sophie from day 1 and she made my experience seamless. She is understanding, patient, attentive, timely and excels with strong communication, regular updates and support. Sophie ensured I was well informed, kept in the loop and advised through every step,action and transition. She made my experience enjoyable and stress free with warmth, humour and compassion. Oliver and his team in Locksbottom are quite simply "the best"!
29th Sep 2024 (24 days ago)What can I say - the brief version is that without Hamptons and Paddi Denvir in particular we know we would not have managed to exchange when we did. Impossible to conceive of getting through these transactions without stress, but we are so grateful to Paddi and the team for taking so much of that stress on for us and pushing this through, it made a huge difference. Real transactions specialists are hard to find. It was not the easiest of transactions but at all times Stuart was on hand to answer any questions or negotiate with the sellers on varying points, under sometimes difficult circumstances. It was a great team effort to achieve the result we all wanted, buyer, seller and agent!
18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

As it can be, it was a stressful time, but they were excellent in helping me negotiate the difficulties along the way. They arranged viewings efficiently, even on a bank holiday, and always replied the same day to any enquiries I had. They were even at hand when I locked myself out of my house on completion day! They were a breath of fresh air and incomparable with an agent I had the misfortune to deal with at a different company, when trying to purchase an onward property - beware, old fashioned, lying and manipulative agents are still lurking out there! I would wholeheartedly recommend Bridge estate agents.

The journey of buying and moving home could have been the most stressful process, but with Ismail and Zoe by my side, I was kept smiling all the way through! Ismail’s knowledge and professionalism combined with Zoe’s tenacity and understanding make them a phenomenal team, which I feel very privileged to have had them push my sale and purchase through. My children and I are genuinely grateful for how they took care of us from chasing solicitors, agents, always at the end of phone meant we can now create memories in our forever home.
