I am very pleased by the professional level with which JDM Lettings Locksbottom has let and managed my property.
The staff have always been very prompt with all communications regarding the letting and have given good advice when needed.
The tenants were properly vetted and all procedures followed correctly.

We have lived for a year in a jdm Locksbottom managed flat while purchasing a house through jdm Petts Wood.
The difference between Letting Agents and Estate Agents are always shocking, and I think it's a grim indication of our society. However, I have been a tenant with multiple estate agents, but never have I dealt with the unprofessionalism of jdm Lettings Agents. The rude emails, needless hurdles they have created, and frequent mid tenancy inspections have been so invasive of our lives. We spent £289 getting a professional clean at the end of our tenancy, to receive an email from jdm saying we would not be receiving our full deposit back even though "[they] don’t have full details as yet, but suffice it was not to a high standard." The fact that jdm don't have the check out report themselves, but are happy to suggest the property is not clean enough is a joke. Once I have my deposit back, I will be thrilled to be done with them.

Jeremy and his dedicated team immediately struck us as the right people to market and sell our property, right from first point of contact.
They backed up our initial impression of them all the way through the marketing and sale finalisation process, with tremendous levels of efficiency, diligence, determination, crystal-clear communication and honesty.

The service we received from the team at JDM Estate Agents in selling our late mother’s house in the early of autumn of 2023 was outstanding.

I had an offer accepted on a property, back in November 2021. The team were initially very accommodating and friendly throughout the process! Amelia, Emma, Jenna and Kate were always prompt with responding to questions and requests!
Subsequently they agreed with the vendor to put the property back on the market, close to the exchange date and a higher offer was accepted. On my side solicitor and radon test fees have been lost and I am back to square one. I understand Estate Agents act for the seller and not the buyer, however one would think they would provide an after care service or at least a courtesy call to see how they can assist me with locating a new property considering how far down the line I had got!
Since the new offer has been accepted, the prompt service and willingness to help had gone straight out the window! However, by sending an email to state I would be writing negative feedback, I instantly received a response to my emails!

An excellent communication from the viewing appointment until check in. We live 3 hours away previously, every communication was done remotely with a high level of responsiveness, professionalism and care. My emails were always replied on the same day!

JDM also issue us a check in document which is really useful as a reference. Nicola, our property manager introduced herself kindly via email few days before we moved in supplying all the important contact details. She also came and sort our issues instantly!
The property was prepared to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. All the appliance manuals for the property was also kept neatly in a file and was given to us when we checked in. The flat building is maintained to a high standard i.e. all communal area like stairs, entrance and hallway are all cleaned and in an excellent condition.
The pictures of the lettings ads are also accurate - we had multiple experience with misleading ads with some of the letting agents. I have had experience over multiple lettings agency in Norfolk, East Midlands and London, I would say I am really impressed on the professionalism and meticulous services that provided by JDM.

Amelia dealt with the many viewings with the minimum of inconvenience to me, keeping me informed when to expect arrivals and afterwards letting me know when to return following their departure; the house sold in 8 days !
Special mention must be made of Jenny, their Sales Manager, for without her total and friendly, supportive commitment I really don’t know how I would have coped - the chain was small but all parties had to make compromises along the way and at the 11th hour the solicitors were still trying to resolve an unexpected minor title defect in my purchase.

Myself and my partner have just bought our first home through jdm. They were an excellent agent to deal with and we are so happy with our new home. Everyone we had contact with at jdm was polite and helpful but especially Jennifer Fry who dealt with our purchase and was always responsive and proactive during a slightly complicated and at times stressful purchase. Jenny always got back to us the same day with any queries which really put our mind at ease. As first time buyers, we have found this current sellers market a bit difficult to deal with and we previously had a couple of bad experiences with other local agents who were rude and dismissive despite us being serious buyers which really put us off. Jdm stood out from all the others and were polite and accommodating from first contact. Would definitely recommend from a buyers point of view. Thank you for taking some of the stress away!

After I experienced completely disingenuous behaviour from my purchaser, JDM provided robust challenge, worked closely with my solicitor and I, and proposed alternative options to get my sale over the line. I felt completely supported the whole way through, Lizzy and Jeremy were just brilliant as were the whole team in Locksbottom, and they also gave me valuable advice on my forward purchase. Moving home is stressful at the best of times, not at least when we are all going through a global pandemic. I can't recommend highly enough JDM Locksbottom in helping us with our move. From initial engagement through to exchange of contracts, we were given a polite and professional service from the outset.
Pre-lockdown the viewings were managed around our times and after we had an offer on the table and the pandemic hit, the team there brilliant with their communications with us. The team there, especially sales progressor Gillan's empathetic approach really helped keep the stress levels down. Having experienced many of the different agents in the Locksbottom area, JDM would be the one I would wholehearted recommend.

Was not at all happy with the service received selling through these guys.
They often just ignored my requests for updates, did not deal with simple issues for me and ignored my requests for specific actions without any reply or other explanation.
They generally seemed to be working as if the buyer was their client rather than the seller.
It felt like their approach was, ' right, we have the seller signed up and committed, now let's try and get everything the buyer wants and do everything for them, ignore the seller's wishes as they've already put their name on the dotted line with us'.
I'd be ok if I was going to buy through them but would never sell through them again.

Bought a house in Walworth through them. Really friendly and helpful throughout. Clearly any estate agent is a mediator for the vendor, but they were straightforward, professional, thoroughly reasonable and clear in their dealings throughout, and seemed genuinely happy to give us the keys on completion. Couldn't ask for more - particularly after dealings with central London agents in the past!
