Beware, Have used Japan UK and unfortunately I had nothing but trouble and issues with them over a wide area of things. In the end they cost me an awful a lot of time and money.I wish I had never come across them. Totally unprofessional , Beware.... Read more

Awful letting agency, my only recommendation to you is that you avoid using this agency at all costs. Agreed at the start of the tenancy that we would employ cleaners and clean the property as it was in less than perfect condition. In exchange no cleaning costs would be incurred by us on vacating the flat. When we left 18 months later, Japan UK had no record of this and we were charged several hundred pounds. In addition the inventory clerk they employ is the rudest and most unpleasant person I've dealt with in a professional environment. After several phone calls and emails complaining to Japan UK about their service, the owner finally said, "I've spoken to X in the office and yes, he does remember you having access to clean the property before the tenancy started..." He still wouldn't refund our money and seemed unable to comprehend why, having ripped us off for £320 we would be unhappy. This agency should really be featured on BBC's Watchdog programme....
