Peter managed the sale of our property during a particularly challenging time in the 2023 housing market. We found him and the JDW team to be very professional, personable and efficient - always responding quickly to our questions and following up promptly when chasing other parties. We lost our initial buyers at one point due to change in their situation, and within days Peter had worked hard to schedule a series of new viewings and managed to secure another buyer. There is no doubt that the speed with which he reacted, additionally liaising with our seller’s estate agent, helped us to avoid losing the property we had offered on. During the early part of our journey Peter even paced the streets of our target area looking for potential properties for us.
I recommend JDW to anyone looking to sell property in Wimbledon - we really felt we were the focus of their efforts and it was an absolute pleasure to have Peter on our side. Many thanks!

I had the most impressive service from John D Wood. It was first class. I was kept informed of every viewing and all their comments, so I knew exactly what was going on at any time. Mostly I dealt with Peter who couldn’t have been more clear and helpful. I’ve bought and sold several properties in my time and I’ve never had this level of service from any other agent. I can thoroughly recommend John D Wood.

One of the best teams of Protima , Harry and Ashlee. Very transparent , best offers and a balanced view in tenants and homeowner . They even resolved the issues by getting sales and management teams together . Protima , even though was a sales person , helped us throughout our letting period . My experience was much better with this boutique compared to Big Brands.

J D Wood did a fantatic job helping us sell our flat in Wimbledon Park. We faced a few hurdles that were unexpected but Chris and Lewis got things on track and got the sale through when we had given up. I would thouroughly reccomend them if you are considering selling a property.

Ms. Crocker Head of Lettings is not to be trusted her dubious nature when and lack of detail when presenting tenants is questionable. Trying to force clients to accept tenants without full references, sharp sales practices are a worry for this agency.

If I had a chance to give them zero star I would go for it!! Unprofessional Agency!!
Even if we sent an e-mail for our requests since the first day we moved in the house, we couldn’t get a response. When we first entered the house, the garden was filthy and the microwave wasn’t working. We sent an e-mail, but no one responded. Inventory check was never done which is not professional at all. We were then asked to hand over the house as the landlord wanted to return to their house, which is understandable, the date they gave us notice was 2 months before which is legal time based on contract, they have sent an official email and we started to prepare ourselves, then out of nowhere we received an email they gave us another date for notice which was extended date of 1 week as the release date (this is never a date we requested or we wanted)
We mentioned then couple of times that we wanted to leave on the normal date, we even sent an e-mail even it was okay we can leave earlier but for some reason they gave an extended date for 1 week notice which was out of nowhere. They never even told us about any payment or any payment related to this extended date. Because if you offer them to stay yes you will have to pay but this was the offer from them and they should have mentioned terms and conditions to us otherwise how do we know what to do, we have never received info regarding of this situation. What we do not understand is why the notice date is extended without asking us and why do we have to pay for their decision? If it was actual day we were fine.
After we moved out they said they can not release the deposit if we don’t pay the money for that 1 week which they have extended without asking us, and they deducted that money from the deposit.
The other incident is that they sent the deposit 35 days after the moved out (with deducted) when the rent payment day comes, they can't even wait for 1 day, but they make you wait for 1 month to pay your deposit, arbitrary moves were made, I'm not satisfied at all and I never want to work with this real estate company,
I do not recommend working with this real estate agent.

Peter assisted us in finding our home. He was fair and we felt he genuinely had both the vendor & buyers interests at heart. He was efficient, pragmatic, honest and very calm in the emotional circumstances that house buying generally is - for both sides. Thank you Peter - we are thankful for your professionalism!

We had to find a let in a very short space of time as our builders wanted to start 2 weeks early. Emily was our contact at John D Wood and she was exceptional. Once we had found a suitable place she worked efficiently and tirelessly to get us in. Turn around was about a week, and despite a fair amount of paper work and checks we were able to move in before renovation on our house began. I would highly recommend John D Wood if you are looking for a short let. All the staff were extremely helpful.

Alexandra helped me secure a short let accommodation, and she has been absolutely wonderful throughout the process. The schedule was quite tight because I wanted to move in within a few days of signing an agreement, but Alexandra made it happen by staying on top of things. She would be checking emails and following up even outside the work hours.
She was also very honest in her dealing. I could feel she genuinely cared about both me and the landlord.
Highly recommended!
