I am appalled with the standard of this organisation. My family and I had a terrible experience with this company during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our agent, Laura, was extremely racist towards my parents, having no rapport with us as a client. She was also incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional, misguiding us continuously in a time of vulnerability moving into a new country. Further to this, the images of the properties shown on the website are very misleading, as in reality the properties are in very poor condition (such as ripped wallpapers, cracked walls, heating not working and other utility issues, and a poorly-maintained garden). The list is much longer than this. After this deceitful encounter, we were not given any help or guidance at all. Our emails and calls would be ignored consistently - to exemplify the urgency of some of these emails: my mum is asthmatic and the exhaust wasn’t working in the bathroom. We had to call and email countlessly over the course of weeks to get this fixed. We ended up having to fix everything in this property out of our own pocket. After replacing the wallpapers with new ones, carpeting the floor, getting the whole house repainted and fixing the walls, fixing the garden and more, we were made to pay an incredibly unjustified and unreasonable extra amount upon vacating the house, as we ‘changed their property.’ When in reality, we were fixing the basic necessities that were advertised - which should have already been done by them. Overall, I am very disappointed in this company and the way that they are treating their customers. It is a scam, and a very unfriendly and uncomfortable environment that they create for their clientele. I truly have nothing positive to say.... Read more

One of the worst services I have ever come across. I phoned the lettings agent every single day for almost a week trying to get a date & time booked in for a viewing. Everyday I was told that they were waiting for the landlord to confirm a date, which I fully understand. Finally viewings had been confirmed but I was completely left out as the lettings agent "phoned me" to let me know when I could view the property but missed their call. I had no missed calls, voice messages or text messages left for me. I find it ridiculous that they can only take a handful of people to view the property. It takes literally 10min to allow someone to view a property. I'm sure they could fit me in, especially knowing I had been phoning everyday for 5/6 consecutive days. I'm pretty sure if it was a property for sale, they wouldn't treat a potential buyer like this.... Read more

I have exchanged and due to complete on a property purchase with Lloyd Martin. The have genuinely been second to none in my experience having dealt with a few agents recently and having discussions with many others. Ginny and Debbie ensured efficient work and kept me up to date every step of the way. I found them so much better than my selling agents and would recommend them to anyone! I had weekly updates and received quick responses to my queries. From a buyers perspective they are a dream to work with! I can only imagine they are the same when acting on behalf of their clients.
