17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

2nd Apr 2024 (18 days ago)I sold my property through the Sevenoaks Branch of Jackson Stops and would thoroughly recommend them. The team are very friendly and professional. They aim to get to know you as well as your property. They like to conduct viewings themselves which leads to a more impartial and honest viewing. Everyone at the office visited the property and talked to me so that they were well informed when showing people around. My contact kept me well informed every step of the process and if they weren't in the office when I phoned everyone else was sufficiently well informed about my sale to answer my questions.

Warm and friendly when we first met her at the property and with all correspondence post that first viewing she has been professional as well as amicable. 5th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)I have been asked to remove my original review. Ok, I will now just shorten it. I am a cash buyer and have asked to view a property in Cranbrook for the last 2 weeks - we have had a variety of excuses back, I am sure that more than one person works here and could have shown me around. I will presume that they do not wish to sell this property and go elsewhere to a more professional firm - one that is geared around the buyer and not having to fit in with the agency and what suits them. AVOID
8th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Sold my house today after a year of trying to shift it. 1 buyer fell through, and various other unavoidable issues that come with selling a property with an ex-partner, and here we are! Sam & Matt were invaluable to the whole process. They kept communication up throughout the entire time, especially Sam who dealt with the majority of the issues. Thank you so much to both of you, and the whole team at Philip Jarvis. A whole years worth of work at such a reasonable price. I would 10/10 recommend.

Due to mortgage restrictions and a changing economic climate, the task of getting it over the line was not easy for anyone but Savills kept in constant contact, kept believing we would do it and keep the deal together. Always easy to reach, always have time for a call or chat and very informative. Would certainly recommend.
16th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)This agency is simply ridiculous. I have yet to see a property for sale on their books that doesn't look SUBSTANTIALLY over priced. My wife and I were considering a property in the area that this agency deals with but have refused to even consider any of their properties as they are so over valued. We have done extensive research of the area that they deal with and can only come to this conclusion!! SUCH a shame as there have been a number of properties we would of actually considered buying had they not been so ridiculously valued.

Thought haven’t heard from estate agent in a while so gave them a call to find out what’s going on, they’ve given the property to someone else and didn’t even think to let us know so now have got to start again on our property search and has been a waste of time and doubt we’ll get our holding deposit back

2nd Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)The survey provided was efficient, helpful and friendly. The report was received promptly and all queries answered quickly and simply, including plenty of photos of the flat roof. It was good to find a surveyor who could survey a flat roof at a very competitive price.

15th Dec 2023 (18 weeks ago)I have had a few dealings with Phillips and Stubbs over the years and the experience has been excellent. As well as handling the normal things with efficiency, speed and competence, they have gone above and beyond, for instance helping me with mortgage arrangements, recommending surveyors and smoothing out stressful and difficult situations. Highly recommended!

29th Sep 2023 (6 mo. ago)We were recommended to Maison and have to say had slight reservations about the performance of an on line agent but OMG how wrong we were Damian and Zac where totally amazing contactable all the time, always came back to us if we called and left a message, handled everything promptly and sorted out any problems as they came along.
