The people from Mintland Properties Ltd are exceptionally caring, fast responders and they do go above and beyond to make sure you have a positive experience with them. My agent, Umar, has been extremely helpful throughout my whole stay, has even come to open my door on a Friday evening at 11:30 p.m. because I forgot my keys. They have rented us a flat with cockroaches and mice, the problem was hided at the beginning however we needed to face it for months. On top of this the building where was our flat located had an escape of gas and we were left there until some professionals (not from the agency) arrived knocking on our door and advise about the danger. Luckily they came on time as I was about to cook some dinner and it would have been disaster. At the end they didn’t give us back the whole deposit.... Read more

I do not recommend this estate agent. We moved into a flat with a broken balcony door, with the requirement for it to be fixed as part of the terms of our offer. After 6 MONTHS, we took advantage of our break clause from the tenancy agreement with the door still broken! This was in spite of being in continual contact, as it was a safety concern, and our energy bill was about twice what it should have been due to the draught. Contact with landlord via the estate agent was slow and laboured from the moment after we had signed the contract. Furthermore, it took several weeks to get our deposit back, despite the fact that we had all the paperwork completed promptly upon moving out. Fees were quite average for London estate agents, but I don't feel that the service we received was worth it. The one redeeming quality of the company is that they gave us phone numbers to directly contact their plumbers, electricians, etc. so we could get in touch immediately when we had problems (which we did - boiler, shower, fuses...) and didn't have to actually go through the estate agents for this. Otherwise, I fear we would have been left without for some time.... Read more
