Would and have recommend Parkmans to all friends, family and mutuals.
Our house was listed with another agent for close to 5 months with little activity. We switched to Parkmans and dealt with Claire and Emily. Our house then sold within a week of being re-listed!
Claire was incredible throughout the entire process - kept us updated at all points and chased the relevant parties when needed. The photos Emily took were fantastic and showed the house in a much better light compared to the original agent’s.
Couldn’t have been happier that we decided to go with Parkmans in the end. 5/5??

The way they have treated my girlfriend is absolutely disgusting. They have regularly let themselves into the property without notice, admitted it over email and have since point blank denied it, luckily my girlfriend recorded the phone call so she is now able to further prove how manipulative they have been. They haven’t carried out a single repair in the last 6 months, just botched or ignored every problem. They have openly discriminated against her and the previous tenant mr E Jones (“I think the old tenant had mental health problems because his flat was a mess”) for having mental health problems, even forcing her to rehome her registered and caged emotional support animal even though legally they are protected and have to be considered when it comes to housing. She has since developed PTSD not only from the harassment of waking up to find Parkmans employees and the landlord - Jan price - in her living room after letting themselves in with their own keys with no prior notice, admitting to doing it to all of their tenants and claiming that it has never been a problem in the past, which I myself have witnessed. Her having no privacy, even being told what furniture to keep in which rooms and having her cupboards inspected as well as being evicted in retaliation to wanting a bit of privacy have all contributed to a suicide attempt which almost killed her. There are leaks, damp and mould in the property but all she ever gets is excuses, she has never had a kitchen window key which is a serious fire risk, the landlord is selling the property with live in tenants (except evicted her 6 months early after renewing her contract for a year and encouraging her to decorate as “non fault due to selling property” - it can only be retaliatory) and complete strangers are sent at random to view but when Parkmans is asked about it she’s told they have “no idea who it could be” which is obviously very concerning considering she’s a young vulnerable woman who lives alone, they shouldn’t be sending anybody here never mind not even knowing who they are. She has had to go to the council and trading standards as when Parkmans are confronted about it she is gaslit and told that she has imagined the whole thing, again using her mental health against her, which she is not as she has evidence that they have done these things and now evidence that they are denying it. She has had her post opened by the landlord, defended by Parkmans who have excused it by saying “she wanted to see what was in the letter” (none of her business quite frankly). My poor girlfriend has once again been reduced to tears because she has again felt obligated to let somebody in without any prior notice and Parkmans cannot or will not even tell her who they are. If you are a doormat and you’re willing to give up any privacy you have and like living in a cold, leaky flat then I’m sure Parkmans will be the perfect company for you but the second you start sticking up for yourself you will be bullied and neglected and eventually there will be repercussions because they like to play god with peoples lives. They are all for the landlords and even though the tenants are who pays the rent, they don’t consider them to be anything but a nuisance.

Always rude. Then going into peoples homes with spare key they keep. Looking thou letters that are address to others. And even opening them! Never known a company to be so disrespectful to their tenants

After viewing several homes and being disgusted by the agents' incompetence and lack of knowledge about the properties being presented, we met Claire from Parkmans, who stood out for her competence and thorough knowledge of the properties being presented. We approached Parkmans and specifically Claire after not having any success with a previous agent. Upon appraising our property, we knew straight away we wanted to use Claire because of her honesty in the valuation and her professional approach.
We were absolutely delighted to get several viewings on our property and 2 offers within 2 weeks of it being listed for the full asking price.
We had also seen a property we wanted to purchase with Parkmans which Claire arranged for us and eventually negotiated our sale and purchase.
Emily was great with the initial photos and at keeping us updated throughout the process.
In summary, we wouldn't hesitate to use Claire and Parkmans again due to their professional service and great communication.

Not an overall great experience with sale and purchase. Yes they sold my property on first viewing for the asking price but the buyers mortgage valuation came in 10k less as they don’t include summerhouses so I had to take 10k less or risk losing my purchase surely parkmans would have been aware of this and maybe they could have told me prior. Had alot of issues with purchase aswell never saw anything from my point of view just defended the sellor who might I add lied to them. Also had problems on completion day but they weren't interested then because they had thier money!

I let Parkmans manage my property as an alternative to self management although l am a licensed landlord and could have carried out the management myself. I have too many things including other properties to deal with this.
They have proved to be excellent managers and selectors of tenants, l am totally happy and if l decide to buy to rent, they will handle the management.
Very pleased with the report and details provided, and their fees are not excessive, l would recommend them to any prospective person who doesn’t want to go through the rigour of rent smart wales licensing procedures.

My experience of renting with this company has been disatirous. Will never ever touch this company again. From living with mould in rooms of the house to the kitchen falling apart. They dont want to know or fix the problem all they want to do is have your money each month and put it up each year.

I would like to say a big 'Thank you' to Claire Yandle at Parkmans.
Claire's professional support throughout the sale of my property has been excellent, likewise the Parkman's staff have all been helpful.
More importantly to me, Claire understood from the offset that the decision I took to sell my family home was going to stir many emotions for me, and her calm & kind manor ensured I felt supported rather than just another house sale.
Claire has gone above my expectations to ensure I was kept informed of the progress throughout and quick to respond to any questions I put to her.
Claire was particularly sensitive and supportive when the sale faced set backs, and did everything she could to reduce any stress on me.

Emily was a brilliant photographer and made my house look very desirable. Leanne was very understanding of what I required from my house sale.,accompanied all viewings and gave immediate feedback.Emily kept in touch constantly with updates and requests for viewings from potential buyers. After 2 terrible property management companies previously, Parkmans has been a joy. Very professional, yet approachable. They would fix any faulty problem very quickly. I Would never rent a property off these again! Their houses are awful, smelly and dirty. they dont like doing repairs, they tried making out that i done certain amount of damage when i most certainly did not! They demanded that i had to cut the grass before i left when the garden was like a frigging jungle when i first moved in! They tried to make out that i drilled the back door when i didnt! Luckily i took pictures of the house "before" i moved in which was my saveyer. They then had monthly inspections that "had" to be suitable for them and not "you" and kept charging me because i couldn't get time off work, even though i had explained to them i work 12 hours a day so couldn't do weekdays but weekends was fine, but that wasn't good enough as it had to be a Wednesday from 10am till 1pm!! They tried to say i broke the kitchen draws when i didn't! So had to prove my innocense with the recorded telephone conversation that i had with them when i first reported it. They also tried to make me patch up certain holes that wasn't done by myself but yet again luckily the pictures that i took before i moved on came in handy for my innocensea and one last thing they will do their "very" best to keep your bond so beware!!!

VERY BAD STRESSFULL EXPERIENCES. THEY DON'T LIKE DOING ANY REPAIRS THAT REALLY NEED DOING. THEN THEY GET THE COWBOYS IN. MOST OF THERE PROPERTY'S ARE DAMP SMELLY AND FUNGUS GROWING ON THE INSIDE WALL'S, LIVING IN THOSE CONDITIONS IS NOT GOOD TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY ASTHMATIC. EVEN YOUR OWN CLOTHES SMELL MUSTY IT'S EMBSRASSING. DON'T EVER BELIEVE YOU WILL GET YOUR BOND BACK AS MANY HAVNT. STEER CLEAR OR HAVE THINGS SIGNED IN STONE. MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION.

Spoke to these people about a potential rental with a simple question regarding pets and the woman who spoke to me was so rude and abrupt I will not consider renting or buying with them at all in the future. I feel sorry for the owner who has left their property in their hands.

Having the monopoly on most rental properties in the area seems to give this EA ideas of grandeur. They should remind themselves that they are providing a service for us and not we for them. They speak to potential tenants with a patronising tone making them feel like schoolchildren.
