The company charges a lot for their service, yet there were so many mistakes on their part that literally cost us thousands of pounds that made me question the value of these services. In the hindsight I wish I had chosen a different agent.

Emily, the manager, was fantastic — professional, approachable, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. She kept everything moving smoothly and was always on hand to answer questions and provide reassurance. Communication was excellent, and we felt well supported at every stage of the process. Thanks to Emily and the team, everything progressed in good time and the whole experience felt far less stressful than it could have been. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Taylors, and especially Emily, to anyone looking for a proactive and reliable estate agent.

Their honesty and communication were second-to-none, and they were easy to chat to whenever we needed their guidance. The footage they took of our house looked incredible and was definitely part of the reason why it sold so quickly for the asking price. If you’re in two minds of which company to deal with, use Tathams!

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Scott was equally excellent as our Estate Agent: professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in making the process smooth and stress-free. The whole purchase was handled seamlessly from start to finish and completed in an impressive 5½ weeks, which exceeded our expectations. Communication was clear, timely, and reassuring throughout. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received and would highly recommend Sue and Scott to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

From the outset, Adam was charming and super-helpful. He talked me through the process of becoming a landlord, and was always responsive to my queries. He showed people round my house and I always had the sense that he appreciated that it was my home, not just a building I wanted to rent out; I was always happy that I was not just going to get 'any old tenant', but somebody who would appreciate the value offered by my property, which I've put a lot of love, care and money into. That's exactly what happened: so far, so good, as I'm new to renting out property, and I'm really confident that James Douglas knows what they're doing and have found me a really lovely tenant who'll look after my home even though I'm no longer in it. Everything has been done in a timely and professional manner and I couldn't be happier with the service I'm getting, so thank you, Adam, for getting this sorted for me!

Life threw quite a few curveballs our way, but Dane consistently turned those lemons into the most delicious lemonade! Dane's commitment was unwavering. He arranged and communicated countless viewings, always keeping me informed and up-to-date with feedback and responses. His professionalism was outstanding, and his communication was consistently excellent. I know I put Dane through his paces, and he earned every penny! What truly set Dane apart was his unique approach. I was genuinely touched by his hand-written letter, a personal touch you rarely see these days. And the tea bag he included? It made a truly delightful cup of tea! Honestly, Dane is the best estate agent anyone could ask for. I've already recommended him to my friends because I want them to experience the same 5-star service. He's an absolute asset to his company.
