Excellent Estate Agents, We live in Manchester and had to travel up to Barrow-in-Furness, so only had a certain day to look at properties, they made every effort so we could view properties,, We eventually bought one and is going through Poppi at the Barrow Branch has been amazing , every email I sent she replied to, sometime straight away or a few hours later when she had to contact the vendors, Poppi has now passed me onto some one else to do with the sale who have contacted us about the sale They seem very organised to at present very pleased, just wish out Estate agents were as good at communication, thank you... Unfortunately unable to give you 5 stars due to some of the misunderstandings given. Eg cash buyers when they weren't and the actual sale of the house seemed to take a long time. We also couldn't understand why the argon test wasn't taken at the begining of the sale. It would have been good to have the same member of staff dealing with the sale. We quite like this property, it appears to have everything I need. I will be making arrangements to drive up to Cumbria in the next few weeks and would like to view this one. There are a couple of other properties in Askam I wish to view too so will try and arrange a time to view those as well. Do you know if the Travel Lodge is open in Barrow as we will need somewhere to stay for a few nights. I cannot come up this week as I have viewings for my own property throughout the week and next weekend. I am also interested in some properties in Dalton too so will try and get them sorted out for viewing at the same time. I need to see the area each property is situated in to se if I will be happy living there. I am looking to buy possibly 2 properties in the same area, one for me and one for my daughter. I am completely disgusted with the service received from the Barrow Branch here! Numerous issues with my rental property for over a year now and they still aren’t resolved! False promise after false promise to contact me to get them resolved and never happens. Hound you if it’s something they need doing like an inspection or boiler servicing! When renting a property with Poole Townsend last year we had a neighbor who didn't like children. She would complain about my kids playing in the house or playing out in the street. (Almost Ages 3 + 4 spring/summer time) she would also complain things that were not true. I felt that uncomfortable with the neighbor my anxiety was bad, I could never look her in the eye and would hide in my house if she was out the front. To the point I was shouting at my children not to play or make a sound because I was afraid of the neighbor making another complaint. However I loved living there the school was great and we got to know most of the street. I told Poole about our neighbor on a number of occasions... But after everything they evicted us because of our hateful neighbor. We became homeless for 3 months! And Poole Townsend couldn't care less... As long as we paid our rent and leave a nice tidy house which we did, exactly the same as we moved in. I hope the new tenants don't have the same issues we had.... Read more
