Don't believe it; there's no doubt that the landlords provided these 5-star reviews. I never recommend Seal Properties to anyone because they basically do nothing for the tenants but do their best for the landlords. We have been renting a property from them at NE8 for the last three years and have never missed a rent payment. On the other hand, they have never resolved issues we have with dampness, leakage, mold, etc. They recently added 20% to the rent, and we have no choice except to pay as we cannot move out right now. This is 100% true, and I have all the correspondence and documents if needed.... Read more

Awful agency. Rude on the phone, have spoken to both Chloe and Emma in the office over the course of the last month - I applied for a property on the 22nd August. When I viewed it I was shown round by someone acting "on behalf of the agents" who didn't even greet me or say hello just ignored my friendly greeting and walked past me to unlock the door and let me in. I was told that there was no concrete interest by the office staff prior to viewing, but after submitting all my documents over the next 2 days I was told there were multiple people's applications under consideration. I called back after 2 weeks when I had no response to my application and was promised a call back that afternoon. I then called again the next day after no one called me and the same thing happened again the next day too. Eventually I left a message on the answer machine a week ago with no response. Seeing the property has still been available online throughout I finally managed to contact the office this morning to be told that it's not available and has been let. After expressing politely that I hadn't been happy with the level of customer service I was rudely told that they are just very busy right now. I explained this has been an issue with multiple people on several occasions, where I was again rudely interrupted to be told it couldn't have been multiple people as there are only 2 people in the office (?) .... the customer service and professionalism that's been shown throughout my interactions with the company have been appalling, on top of the fact they have taken a month taking in multiple applicants and requiring them to find references and guarantors just to apply. You aren't just contributing to the current housing crisis you are actively making it worse for people. I'm sure they are lovely to you when you're an owner selling or a landlord renting but it's a shame that level of professionalism and courtesy doesn't extend to the people who are being taken advantage of in the rental sector as tenants, who are just looking for somewhere to live.... Rogue landlords we was stuck in a house with no working boiler for four months slug infestation and damp on internal walls back door loose they had numourous phone calls emails and still never carried out the repairs their excuse was usually the house is too far well why take on a house that's too far and trying to get hold of them is a nightmare shame I can't post the pictures on here as they have the house back up for rent with fake pictures now I see why no one was interested in the dump...
