We have now received our full deposit back via Deposit Protection Service's dispute resolution service (see final screenshot). During the dispute, the landlord and their agents (including Jack) submitted *zero evidence* for their attempt to claim our full deposit. However, our dossier of emails and photos evidencing the landlord's neglect were acknowledged.
I have only two further comments on Jack's reply. Firstly, that one might reflect that if someone was truly professional they wouldn't reply to all bad communication like an angry Facebook commenter. A mature and reliable business does not panic over one bad review.
Secondly, whilst of course my review is biased, I gain nothing by lying; no money, reputation or - as Jack claims - no help with my deposit dispute (obviously, the only evidence that counts is evidence *from the landlord* that tenants have damaged the property). My motives are extremely simple; to give Jack the bad reputation he deserves, because he was extremely arrogant and unpleasant.
By contrast, Jack has a vested interest to lie about all aspects of this story in order to continue to make money. A bad review could harm his extremely young business where he is the only agent. Jack is very young, relatively inexperienced and takes negative feedback personally. This causes him to reply emotionally in a way that can legally endanger landlords and harass tenants. With something as important as property, I am advising both tenants and landlords (having experience/interest in the perspectives of both) that the below review has been my experience. If this review was verifiably false as Jack has claimed, Google would remove it.

Jack is failing to sell my old flat (3 Finney Court, Durham) for LESS than it sold for 15 years ago. It was last sold in 2007 for £265,000 (source: the movemarket) and he has been failing to sell it for 6 months and counting for £255,000.
Summary of my experience with Jack:
~ Harassed me and my partner so much we vacated the property within 1 month of him being hired, which has lost the landlords £875/month. We were tenants there for 4 years and always paid rent on time, in full, with no issues. Despite receiving multiple warnings, he was incapable of keeping his thoughts on our situation to himself and sent harassing texts and emails admonishing us.
~ Consistently threatened to break the law by breaking in without our permission because we asked him to wait for ONE WEEK ONLY to survey the property, because we had suffered a loss and were making funerary arrangements. Claimed landlords asked him to do this.
~ Has advised landlords to take our full deposit after moving out, despite the fact they have no cleaning invoices, photographic inventory or other evidence that the flat was in a better state and we have photos and dated emails showing the mouldy, filthy state of the place when we moved in, as well as an inspector's report saying we had no caused any chargeable damage.
@ Tenants - beware this man coercing you and telling you that he has a legal right to enter your rental home without permission (he doesn’t!) and that you are legally responsible for things you just absolutely aren’t (like letting him in with less than a day's notice, or that you should pay to treat mould in the property you have reported). He is a bully, but know your legal rights and it becomes clear it’s all hot air (he never did try to enter our house without permission, curiously).
@ Landlords - beware this man harassing away your tenants (and therefore profits) and making you legally responsible for his behaviour. Beware being sold into his services by promises of a 1 month turn around sale (yes, he really says this) and that he can get you record profits - he can’t even get the same price a property was worth 15 years ago....
