24th Sep 2024 (7 mo. ago)The company is a very responsible company with enthusiastic and patient service. In August 2022, I was nearly 70 years old and came to Newcastle with my granddaughter who was not yet 15 years old to attend high school. The first difficult task was renting a house. The company's new manager received us and helped us choose a house. He was not afraid of trouble until he helped us find a satisfactory one. I rented it for two years and received meticulous care and assistance. Around Christmas of the first year, the warm air broke down in the evening and the weather was particularly cold. The company employees had already finished work. I called Manager Zeng, who arrived soon and personally repaired it until late at night, which moved us a lot. Due to my lack of English proficiency, Manager Zeng specifically designated a young employee named Xiaoqiu who can speak Chinese to contact me. Xiaoqiu is also very enthusiastic and responsible. I sincerely thank the new manager and his team of this company from the bottom of my heart!

14th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)Avoid!!! Scam!!!! I’ve “won” this washing machine, basically I’ve won 2 washing machines in this lot… ohh wait: ive won the one it looks like it was in a car crash!!!! ???? I’ve complained of course… and they just void my invoice, and they refused to give me the machine in better conditions… by law they have to!!!!!!! So… I can conclude this is a scam, be careful, don’t spend your hardworking earned money with them!!! Some of this people don’t deserve to have a job.

15th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.

29th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)I was living in 17 kingfisher court Gateshead. Never ever go for that property. Both agency and owner are unresponsive and greedy for your deposit. The property looks good from view perspective but it’s not maintained deeply. I faced lots of issues and quality of furniture, broken bed, chairs, pathetic sofa. And living spaces dint listen to any repair. Bulbs were old and flickering. And at the end they will take your full deposit.- 2nd May 2025 (16 days ago)A great team who really do go the extra mile

We live out of the area but Karen Dowdeswell was lovely and the team couldn't have been more helpful. They worked hard to sell the property and made sure everything went smoothly. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

Definitely go the extra mile and keep your spirits up when something takes a bit longer than anticipated Good service and always with a smile Not sure the wonderful Sharon Harris manages to stay so calm and funny as she must be juggling all of the time. All the staff are brilliant though

29th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Struggled to get anywhere with maintenance issues. Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.

27th Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)In the capacity of a landlord I have dealt with Your-Move (Whickham) successfully for many years. Unfortunately since the changes in the office management and valuation team the initial negotiations with respect to a tenant find contract were well below my expectations. However thanks to Gillian (long standing member of the office team) the processing of a prospective tenant was exceptional. If basing this assessment on Gillian's performance the rating would have been 5 stars. Without her continued prospective tenant input I would take my business elsewhere.
