After a bad experience trying to sell our flat through one of the big estate agency chains, Story of Home was recommended to us by a friend. Our experience couldn’t have been more different; Stuart actually cared about our sale and knew the market and the business inside out. He was there at every step of the way through a fairly complicated sale. He gave excellent advice on everything, was quick to respond to any questions and was there for us whenever needed. Incredibly happy with all aspects of dealing with Matthew and Stuart from Story of Home.

The process whilst not straight forward through no fault of their own, was made straight forward by how they dealt with everything and made it easy for me.

Story of Home, very professional outfit. The add prepared for my apartment was excelent (great pics) and the story of my apartment was personalized and gave a reader the feeling of the place and the area. The offer was procured quickly (just a few viewings). Stuart was a star. Without him and his involvement the deal would take ages but he was pushing my lawyers and others to deliver necessary documents. But what was the most important for me was that he cared, he kept me informed at all times about the progress and issues when they arose. I did not have to chase and he was always responsive and available. You can see that he cares about his clients and the business. It is not only money but it is also the pride that he takes from delivery of the best service. If I buy another place in the UK for myself or my son, I will certainly use him again.

If you think of every poor experience you've had or read about estate agents, then Story of Home are the polar opposite of all of them. It's tempting to wax lyrical about them but it comes down to this - Story of Home are brilliant at what they do and they are just very decent, intelligent, thoughtful and brilliantly communicative RICS estate agents who do things exactly the way you want an estate agent to do things.

I could not recommend Story of Home more highly. I worked with Stuart who was unbelievably helpful, professional, quick and kind. As a first time home buyer, he guided me through the whole journey perfectly, gave me excellent advice, and helped me with absolutely everything that I needed. I had a lot of questions and Stuart, knowing everything about the development, patiently answered all of them.
He is a fantastic communicator, incredibly easy to talk to, and would always pick up the phone or answer a text within minutes. He not only made the entire buying process stress free but enjoyable!

I've spent an extended period of time (multiple years) home-hunting in London, and Mathew from Story of Home was by far the most knowledgeable and informative real estate agent I worked with (across three countries). Not only did he know every detail about the properties we saw together, but the reports he produced for me thereafter (without me requesting them), and the analytics included in them, were second-to-none. I really believe the reports produced by Mathew and Story of Home have all the information every potential buyer wants to have but cannot fine, and therefore does miracles towards putting a difficult decision (what home to purchase) in a broader market context. Mathew went above and beyond for me and differentiated himself way beyond the crowd, and for whatever real estate needs I have in London (and maybe beyond) in the future I will be returning to Mathew.

Story of Home is a hugely impressive service that has delivered exceptional results for me in a very short space of time despite the tough property market. Stuart and Mathew are clearly very experienced property professionals and both have consistently impressed on every level since I first contacted them with a view to selling my property.
My property was beautifully photographed and then marketed superbly to attract some very strong interest. Their invaluable initial appraisal and overview led to some very high quality offers that proved they were spot on with their initial advice and demonstrated that they understood the market better than their competitors . Everything to do with my property sale was available for me to see on their very impressive web portal which showed my property details and an overview and all the offers I had received .
Stuart and Mathew are very likable and approachable people with a rare personal touch that allows them to be constantly available to offer great advice or help at each stage . When I asked for a quick completion they took everything in their stride and performed brilliantly smoothing out kinks and bumps with all parties so we completed in a superbly quick time .
I cannot recommend Story of Home highly enough as Stuart and Mathew have delivered on every level for me ....Story of Home is an exceptionally polished personal service.

I’ve recently completed the sale of a property being sold by Story of Home. From the outset the communication from Stuart was constant and helpful. He worked hard to negotiate a deal that both myself and the vendor were happy with and, when potential issues arose, he was quick to suggest ways in which we could overcome them. A proper estate agency which actually works hard to get a sale through rather than just sitting back and waiting for it to happen, as so many do these days. From sale agreed to completion is less than 3 weeks; the fastest timescale in which I have ever purchased a property by a distance.

I recently sold my house with Story of Home in Marylebone. I can honestly say it was such a refreshing experience, and worlds apart from your typical estate agency.
The marketing was perfect, the pictures were top class and the guys took a lot of time and care in getting to know me and the property.
Stuart and Mathew knew exactly what they were doing and always gave me the best advice and guided me the whole way through the process.
Not sure if I'll ever move again, but if I do I'll 100% use Story of Home again.
