Sure Property took over the management of my property after the previous agents had failed to let it for over two months and have been simply fantastic. They have a real 'can do' attitude and went in and sorted out a number of issues, always providing honest advice and straightforward solutions. They had it rented in a week. Terrible, probably the worst. I read through all the comment and most of them were about they are highly responsive and helpful, but to us, they were only responsive at every “money asking stages”: asking price period, and plus they were only friendly to landlords but definitely not students! First, did not keep the promise. When we were enquiring the property, I have already suggested for a monthly contract after a 6-month contract. Then we both agreed for the monthly contract, and it was also clearly stated on all the formal documents, so we have happily rent this property under this monthly renewal conditions. However, when the 6-month contract were close to end, the agency has failed to keep their promise and told us we could NOT rent month by month, even required us to a 12-month contract. They clearly broke the promise even with the paperwork’s existence. Secondly, highly unresponsive, and irresponsible to repairing issues. We found out the kitchen lights were not working at all since the move in day, so we notified the agency immediately and requested repair. However, it took almost a month to complete most of the repairment, but some were still left unrepaired even till we check out. Thirdly, unreasonable charges, all they want is taking benefits on tenants. After checking out the inspection was carried out and they made a list of unreasonable claims. Fortunately, we have taken pictures and videos of the property on the move in day, so we were able to defence ourselves and rejected some of the unreasonable claim. *Whoever is reading this/ going to rent with this company, please remember to take pictures and videos when you move in.* Even with the list of evidence, they still charged us unreasonably, such as light bulbs. We have received an invoice stating we should pay 35 pounds for two light bulbs, which we should not be responsible to them because they were left unrepaired since the start of the tenancy (as stated as the above)! The fact is, one of the light bulbs were blown few days before checking out, and I believe this is normal wear and tear so tenants should not be charged for, and they should even be responsible for the repairment during the tenancy. They insisted the 35 pounds call out fee should be paid by us the tenants regardless how many light bulbs were replaced. Simple questions, why are we responsible for the whole 35 pounds call out fee? If the call out charge of 35 pounds remains the same regardless how many light bulbs were replaced, why don’t the agent pay for us but instead charging us? Lastly, terrible, and very unprofessional in handling customers relations and communication, totally disgusted. After a read through to these comment and my experience, they don’t seem to be friendly to students and only want to take money from them. Money doesn’t grow on tree, students should not be taken advantages on, have already reminded my uni peers to avoid this company if they don’t want to lose money!
