Sturminster Newton. As buyers of an expensive property, we were never made to feel, welcome, important or valued. Throughout the conveyancing process the “negotiator” came across as aloof, disinterested and was rather dismissive. After exchange of contracts, we received some rather curt emails directing any enquiry we had, back to the solicitors. In the process making it obvious, that the “fee was already secured, so why bother”. Come completion day, the final insult was, no communication regarding completion or collection of keys. We went to the offices and requested the keys and were disgusted our contact, more or less chose to ignore us, for no particular reason. They did manage under gritted teeth to say “congratulations”. On such an exciting day and after such a long wait, we deserved better ! Something to remember for the future. We certainly couldn’t recommend or would consider instructing on any of our future portfolio sales or purchases. Disappointing to say the least.... Read more

Incredibly disappointed with this estate agent. They tried to sell me a 3 bed including loft conversion as a 4 bed, despite not having building regulation sign off. This meant they could attempt to get more for the property rather than the actual value of a 3 bed. Standard behaviour for a shady estate agent. The seller would then only offer an indemnity policy, which is actually incredibly worthless. Of course, the estate agent gives the attitude that it's nothing to do with them and it's all the solicitor, despite being the ones who priced the property in the first place. I would advise buyers to think twice about using them.... Read more
