We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way.
We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful.
The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with.
Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

In all our dealings with Jackson-Stops we have always found them to be honest, helpful, and extremely realistic on house prices, not over inflating prices just to win business. They also give every purchaser a fair chance organising proper viewing schedules for properties.
All the staff are very knowledgeable about each property also so whether I get Ginny, Alex, Victoria or another member of staff I always get my queries answered if not immediately then certainly the same day.
An extremely refreshing and much appreciated attitude from an estate agent!

Today I contacted Jackson-Stops (Shaftesbury) in order to enquire about a property for sale and spoke with Ginny, who was most helpful and knowledgeable, coupled with the fact she answered my query by email within the hour.
I have recently dealt with a number of other estate agents and apart from one small specialised firm, have found them very slow to respond. In some cases they did not respond at all.
Dealing with Ginny was a refreshing change and I would not hesitate to recommend this office.

I have to add an extra special mention of Ginny Radley who went over and above normal working practice to help out as I did not live in Shaftesbury. Jacksons Stops came strongly recommended to handle the sale of our late mother’s house; the process being complicated and delayed by Grant of Probate and the need to proceed with all speed in the tricky months of December and January.
Throughout, JS were efficient, helpful and understanding; their advice, based on considerable experience, was always clear, considered and helpful.
Marketing the house was relatively easy as a result and viewings handled swiftly, with ease and little fuss, keeping the client informed of the situation as it developed. No surprise that the property sold quickly.
Jackson Stops Shaftesbury did an excellent job for us and I am extremely grateful to them for making the whole procedure, so painless for us as a family,
while working so hard to ensure all that was required of the sale was achieved.
