customer service is a sentence Taylor Wimpey have no intrest in, I have had numerous emails and phone calls ignored after issues with the plumbing in my new property which has led to several water leaks through the ceilings etc, I even found a folded beer mat under the sink to level it !!!. Poor quality build but far worse customer service... Read more

I want to take this opportunity to thank Georgie Buxton who works in the sales office. She has been of excellent help since day 1. On my initial visit to the development, Georgie provided myself with all information I required and I decided I wanted to live here. I then went back to reserve my property and Georgie advised me on Solicitors and Mortgage advisor whom all done their best to get me in my new house. Whenever, I felt lost in the process of selling my previous house and buying of this new property, I will contact Georgie and will chase what she could for me. The house was ready before christmas but my sell delayed, we were all dissapointed. We've now moved in 2 weeks ago now and we love our new house. The after care is 2nd to none, everyone is just nice. I had a few issues in the house, The development managers Jem, Dave and Gareth are amazing, I will just need to contact them and they have sorted things for me. Thank you everyone at Taylor Wimpey!... Read more

Apparently, this particular development has a very interesting sales technique. Being patronising towards potential cash buyers and informing us on how she 'doesn't have time to explain the specifications, as she has other paperwork to do for other customers', as well as constantly contradicting herself - while making us feel stupid. Lovely development, however, unfortunately, we couldn't see past the woman (Georgie). As to us and I'm sure to many, buying a property is a big step and an exciting process, and somehow she made it seem like a drag, inconvenience and bore and we felt 0 confidence in the property developers, as a result of this sales lady. Genuinely would've purchased the plot if the lady appeared remotely helpful or passionate, but overall didn't have faith or trust in the representative.... Read more

Rude staff and pressured sales technique. Didn’t have a show home of the house we wanted so we said we would go and see it at the other site. Were told that someone else would buy it then instead. Unfortunately I’m not going to commit to putting a reservation deposit down on a £350,000 house that I haven’t actually seen!... Read more

Honestly don’t know how any houses are sold at this site. Upon stepping foot into the sales office we weren’t greeted as much as confronted by what can only be described as a rude and condescending woman(I refrain from calling her a lady). After a short conversation with her, where she contradicted herself more than once and offered out thinly veiled insults, my family and I left. No viewing of any properties, no further talks. Not at this site, Thankyou. We’ll find somewhere else!... Read more

We have finally completed our sale on a property at this site today. However, I can tell you that the only reason we put up with these people is because we felt that the house was perfect for us (location, size etc). I have never been spoken to like this since high school. The sales women were extremely rude and unprofessional, leaving threatening voice mails, terrible emails and reducing us to tears. Admittedly, we had a bumpy ride in terms of the mortgage application but this is no excuse. From the very beginning, we were treated badly. I can only think this was because we didn't use their financial advisor, therefore they were missing out on commissions. Putting all that aside, head office treated us well, allowing us to reserve the house for a lot longer than expected. The house demonstration woman was brilliant and after care so far, from what we have been told, is very good...... Read more

Well I'm putting this politely!! Definitely definitely not buying here after the "yeah well" & "but what!?" attitude!! If Taylor Wimpey can give me a reason to spend £300k after being spoken to like we've fallen from a horses back side then please get in touch. The saleswoman was unhelpful, challenging and extremely militant towards my partner and I, using phrases such as "well you would do in lawley" and "yeah the development with the motorway noise?" when talking about other developments, which put us as customers in an awkward position. The general tone and then telling us we "obviously aren't right for Taylor Wimpey" was downright rude. I don't know where you find your staff but I've never encountered anyone in customer sales to be so vile to deal with in this sector. Thanks for turning todays supposedly pleasant experience of having the potential of buying my first house with my partner, into us both walking away upset and quite honestly all round pissed off....
