Cod and chips were amazing, thank you. They reminded me of the monster cod that used to be served at the Linden Tree in Bury, 20 years ago!

Popped in for a friends party. Good band. Had to clear our own glasses and food plates. Is that standard practise here?.

This is a pub not a tea room. We went with a view to staying and eating. The main bar looked nice but as it was hot we went through to the garden. Where a few benches were collected together in the shade of some tatty trees. There is a large patio but it's uninviting and only one bench had an umbrella. The grass is full of little bits of rubbish and wanted cutting. There is also a very tatty looking children's play area very near a corner full of stinging nettles. We just had drinks and left. So I can't comment on the food.

It has a pool table with room to play too. Great food.

On holiday here for a week. Dined most evenings here. Can honestly say one of the best pubs have ever been to. Brilliant food, hosts so welcoming to us and our dog. Can't recommend enough

A truly local pub which is lovely. Felt completely at ease and was very accommodating. Will be visiting again.

Love coming here for breakfast, today we had the all day brunch which was excellent, quality sausages and bacon cooked perfectly and the chips were to die for. The staff here are always the best so friendly and welcoming. Will keep coming back when I am in the area.
