We had an appointment with Abbott’s this afternoon in regards to a valuation for selling our property in the coming months.

The appraisal manager who attended the appointment was Mr Simon Taylor, who arrived promptly on time for the arranged appointment. Simon was extremely professional, his friendly manner made him very personable and he brought with him a wealth of knowledge not only in regards to his knowledge of Abbott’s but also his experiences in the property profession as a whole.

Simon is a real credit to the company and this has helped us decide to instruct Abbott’s as our selling agent.

Then however i dealt with Abbott's, but more importantly i had the pleasure of dealing with Amie, she was an absolute pleasure to deal with, honest, quick to respond and kept us fully informed all of the way through our purchase. Her upbeat personality made her a joy to deal with and she honestly could not do enough for us, absolutely fantastic. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR RENTAL SERVICES. I have tried over 25 times to call through to the lettings department. They are under staffed, they do not answer the phones. If you are lucky enough to get a call back from anyone you get a poor attitude 0% customer service and the manager Damian as about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. No replies to countless emails and answer phone messages. Do yourself a favour and go with another estate agent as you will be paying for a service that you will never recieve.

I did put an offer for a property with Abbotts, I've asked to provide decision in principle which I did and again I was asked to see their mortgage advisor with all the documents if this is correct. My mortgage broker is from a renowned company, I've provided my mortgage advisor phone number email etc. Still sales negotiator wanted me to go with all the documents. I found they are too pushy and they do not believe the paperwork I've provided. They think they are better then other estate agents in Ipswich. If you have to buy or sell via them, I would advise to avoid them.
