I used to work here at this office, the senior management have been for a long time racist, malevolent, chauvinist, homophobic bullies who intimidate employees, sadly this was rife throughout Crossrail. Senior management would often start conversations with Asian/Caribbean staff along the lines of 'remember when we substigate you lot with colonies'. Senior mangers would walk out of meetings and laugh to each other suggesting the reason women weren't promoted was because they couldn't handle the workload. Canada Square office have had numerous compensation tribunals as a result, the list starts in London runs through the core of the planet and finishes in Australia.... Read more

Nice to visit now, before it gets busy in 2018 (when Crossrail line station opens). Some nice shops, a cinema (Everyman), and several expensive-looking eateries. Don't miss the top floor "Roof Garden" - although R says it can't be a roof garden if it has a roof over it.... Read more

Don't forget to go to the roof garden!
All restaurants on the ground floor are now open, and those in the garden will fully open by summer time. It's a really nice break from corporate Canary Wharf! Also, don't miss brunch at The Breakfast Club ;) ... Read more
