We have just recently sold our house with Ingleby Homes, the service has been fantastic from the first initial visit to getting the house on the market within a few days and arranging viewing’s especially with it being a week before Christmas! The ladies in the office have been exceptional with their customer service! They have kept us in the loop with the full process and have helped with any queries we had! I would definitely recommend!! Customer service and attention to detail is second to none.
Recently sold a property we had 20 viewings in a couple of weeks they work hard at customer service. They did all the chasing all the team fully on the ball. What I like about Ingelby Homes is they have a dedicated team for sales and one for lettings unlike a lot of agents where they skimp on staff doing all roles but having a dedicated team doing specific areas really helps.
Selling a property I wouldn’t hesitate in using IH.

Really disappointed regarding this agency as I had booked a viewing to buy a property, this was booked for 10:30am so was my first one for the day hence I woke up early in the morning for 100 miles drive , arrived at the property earlier than should and waiting there until 10:30 then waiting there another 20 minutes and all this time trying to contact them over the phone ( no answer). Only after Facebook message I got an reply and they call me back saying apologies for this and saying to reschedule for today ( I agree to do it after 2pm as I was booked with other viewings) no one called me back and at 12:55 when I called them to double check what happens automated voice mail answer saying the office is closed.
Will never approach them or recommend them.

I used Ingleby Homes to find a tenant as i had previously, unfortunatley this tenant was known to them so their loyalties laid with them. Delibartely witheld information at the application stage. This led to a stressful year, costing me thousands of pounds and consequently forcing me to sell my property. Very disappointed!

Ingleby homes were amazing from start to finish! They delt with both our sale and purchase keeping us informed at every step of the way. The staff appear to get 'first choice' of sale properties before they are advertised. I don't think it is fair to other buyers if the estate agents buy themselves properties, ('to let' out as holiday lets), prior to the public seeing a 'For Sale' sign, advertisement online, or details in a newspaper. OK, it is great news for sellers to have a quick sale, but properties should be available for ALL potential buyers to have an equal chance to purchase. Perks of the job maybe, but unfair. Seems to be a widespread practice with estate agents everywhere!

Went to their office. People were there, windows open. Got no reply from door entry phone. Rang office from mobile whilst in reception, still no reply. Left a message. They didn't respond. Sent a message to them on Facebook, still no response.

Sadly they don't call you back if you view a property and the landlord chooses somebody else to rent it........... very polite and up to speed when booking viewings or enquiring, but can't be bothered to inform you if the property goes to somebody else. Now I know why estate agents are called leeches!!

First one viewed the house and First one whose offer got accepted but 2 days later on our investigation they told us someone else got the house. They are not professional, their words means nothing even via email. Yes ingleby homes a dominant estate agent in ingleby which is the reason they do not value their customers. Their communication skills are poor and they do not realise how their actions affect people who wishes to have a dream house because they have no work ethics. Highly disappointed ????.

Amazing! After using anothe local agent who promised the world but didn't deliver we decided to give these guys a chance. The second day after the house went on the marked they had 7 proceedable potential buyers for us. They organised all 7 to come on a day convenient for us and a week after the house went for sale we accepted an offer.

Went to see a house, applied for it immediately, we could move in whenever. We rang pretty much everday to get an update and were promised by the end of the day we would know whether we had it not. We literally haven't heard a word from anyone, weren't told we hadn't got it so we were in limbo for a long while. Just had to presume we never got it. We were desperate to get out of where we were so that was 3 weeks completely wasted on this house with this company when had they told us we could of started looking elsewhere. Really rude and I'm not sure they realise how much this can affect someone's life when they need to move!

Subsequent to submission of an offer on a property in Ingleby Barwick, I was informed by telephone that my offer had been accepted and I was requested to provide evidence of sufficient funds. I agreed to visit their office the following morning in order to present the necessary documentation.
Being convinced that my purchase was now secured, I proceeded to transfer funds into an account from which they could be further transferred by telephone instruction for purchase of the property following return to my country of residence.
However, to my surprise, I was contacted again by Ingleby homes, on that afternoon, informaing me that there had been another similar offer which they would have to forward to the vendor. It appeared that they were trying to force a higher offer, even though my offer had already been accepted. They said they would update me on subsequent developments.
Later that afternoon I was contacted again by Ingleby homes, informing me that my offer had now been declined.
I feel that this was a betrayal of trust, and an absolute waste of my time and effort. I would never deal with this company again and would urge others who value decency and integrity to do likewise.
Subsequent to the response from Ingleby Homes, I wish to add that they DID NOT ask if I wished to increase my offer. They said that an offer, equal to mine had been recieved from a first time buyer, and that the vendor, having previously accepted my offer, now wished to reverse that decision and accept the other equal offer. I was informed by email that the vendor would now proceed in that way.
Never was I invited to increase my offer. If they dispute this claim, I can upload their response which clearly vindicates my claim.
It is clearly more than integrity they appear to lack.
