Geeta has been dealing with me and she's been excellent, every step of the way she's been there and very helpful. Very happy with the service
Absolutely Appalling Customer service. Communication is next to non-existent. Some staff are rude and patronising and aggressive. They appear to have no interest in helping any house sale go through smoothy as long as they are paid.
If you are thinking of using them as an agent or are looking to purchase a house through them, find another house with a different agent!
1. Viewing. Very professional. After the initial viewing, I was particularly impressed with the results obtained following questions, such as "Had the boiler been inspected" and the follow up from the survey. At no time was I left unescorted.
2. Follow up following my offer. To have a member of staff designated to look after my interest was really good. It turned out that completion could not have been achieved without her intervention.
3. General. My welcome in the office was excellent and "Do feel free to come in anytime" was genuine and I feel that without the help I got, I would not have been able to get my dream bungalow.
Good professional service and achieved a rapid result. The only reason for 4 stars was that once an offer was received matters passed into the hands of someone who only worked 3 days a week. Also at this stage the buyer was under a misapprehension that was passed on to us rather than corrected. Once Emma was involved things were rapidly sorted out.
Really friendly and very supportive. Marion was especially helpful but everyone in the office is genuinely interested in making the purchase as smooth as possible. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Michael Poole (Stockton branch) went the extra mile to secure the sale of my property. Luke Johnson (Branch Manager) and his team were very professional from start to finish. I was highly satisfied with the service provided and the very competitive rates charged. I can highly recommend Michael Poole Estate Agents.
Effective, efficient and friendly. Very quickly after the initial discussions for Browns to sell my property they had viewings and offers. Thus the house was sold quickly and at a fair price. All contacts with Charles and his colleagues was friendly with great support as I was not always at the house so they stepped in to help when needed.
The worst service I have ever received. Treat like scum. my partner was looking for a house to rent I was helping out and she found a house that was advertised by browns and organised a viewing just before the viewing we talked and decided I would move in with her as it would be stupid us both running separate house holds. Also with me earning a good salary that would also help so I decided not to look for myself and let browns know I will be moving in with her and it would be a joint application. It’s all started really well we met the inspection lady who was covering to show us round the house on the Thursday. She was lovely very chatty. We decided that we wanted to go for the house as long as the landlord would let us decorate or do something about it. We got a call Thursday afternoon to say the landlord would be happy to put £100 towards decorating the house. Great! So I went down the Friday and paid my deposit. I was say waiting in the room when I over heard 2 people speaking about our application. And how they had questions. So I went into the room to fill the application and pay out application fee. Nothing got mentioned so I prompted if there was any problems with our application with me deciding to move in. I got a no no it’s all okay. So openly I explained a very personal situation on why I had decided to move in. and I got a okay I will let Julie know. Julie I had spoken to previously who was very blunt and had very poor customer service. We waited over the weekend getting all excited how we would decorate what to buy. Colour schemes. To then get a call Monday to see that the landlord had changed his mind and didn’t want us in because he didn’t want us to decorate etc... with me hearing what I did I had a suspicion this wasn’t the case so I called back after my partner rang me upset at work I asked a lot of questions. And without admitting it they mentioned it was down to suspicion of me not actually living at the address with me not originally going for the house with my partner. That call was also a very bad service. Poor customer service skills. How they can take my deposit and getting us excited knowing full well they weren’t going to accept us. I will never use them again. We have luckily found a better house elsewhere and moved in with great service. I recommend you look at a house with Robinson’s estate agents.
Very good experience from start to finish. Mark Smith looked after us very well with good advice and a very competent and efficient team. They even did viewings for us after hours and on weekends when I know looking for our purchase other agents didn’t offer this. Highly recommend and would use again without hesitation.
do not trust thay under value your house thay make appointments thay never keep then blame you for there mistake thay over charge you and lie to you about house prices thay wont show buyers round after 5 or weekends thay say thay are professional estate agents but only rip you off to get a sale so be warned there are a lot of better agents that wont rip you off
Amazing team always happy to help would recommend to all family and friends
Subsequent to submission of an offer on a property in Ingleby Barwick, I was informed by telephone that my offer had been accepted and I was requested to provide evidence of sufficient funds. I agreed to visit their office the following morning in order to present the necessary documentation.
Being convinced that my purchase was now secured, I proceeded to transfer funds into an account from which they could be further transferred by telephone instruction for purchase of the property following return to my country of residence.
However, to my surprise, I was contacted again by Ingleby homes, on that afternoon, informaing me that there had been another similar offer which they would have to forward to the vendor. It appeared that they were trying to force a higher offer, even though my offer had already been accepted. They said they would update me on subsequent developments.
Later that afternoon I was contacted again by Ingleby homes, informing me that my offer had now been declined.
I feel that this was a betrayal of trust, and an absolute waste of my time and effort. I would never deal with this company again and would urge others who value decency and integrity to do likewise.
Subsequent to the response from Ingleby Homes, I wish to add that they DID NOT ask if I wished to increase my offer. They said that an offer, equal to mine had been recieved from a first time buyer, and that the vendor, having previously accepted my offer, now wished to reverse that decision and accept the other equal offer. I was informed by email that the vendor would now proceed in that way.
Never was I invited to increase my offer. If they dispute this claim, I can upload their response which clearly vindicates my claim.
It is clearly more than integrity they appear to lack.
