Been with Underwoods for over 7 years have been very happy with all the staff. Helen in particular is always very professional and friendly would recommend to anyone. We are now no longer with Underwoods and must say that after the landlord wanting his property back (we had no problem with this). The false promises of we will do all we can to help you!!! I've never before felt compelled to write a review. But I thought fair warning was warranted. As a young renter, I admit I had a certain naivety about renting. But this is just beyond awful. Worse than University landlords who get away with everything. Had nothing but problems. Boiler continuously breaks down. Still haven't received a gate key for the complex, after 6 months... The place is lovely, just horrendous service. Never has someone spoken to me as a customer like that before. Just poor poor service. Very disappointed. I urge people to reconsider using them, it'll wear you down.... Read more

After viewing many properties through other agencies and being really disappointed, (some I had to wipe my feet on the way out!) I was really surprised by the excellent locations on offer, and also the cleanliness of all viewings. I have rented from underwoods for 5 years and have found them a pleasure to deal with, phones are answered quickly and any query is dealt with immediately. Regular property visits would give peace of mind to anyone letting a property. Also staff are friendly and informative when visiting the property and are happy to deal with any issues you have with the rental.... Read more

Very poor customer service, without knowledge and skills to understand human rights and protection of tenants as well as buyer. I had unfortunately both experiences - letting and buying the property with Underwoods, if I could turn back time, never ever use them again no matter what.. Its not even worth to write things we had to go trough and still have to go trough... They did not return our deposit even though we bought the same property and still owe us a money for rent we overpaid.. They never give us any information what shall be done and when just empty promises that it will be sorted in next few days and it is not! If it is not sorted very soon I will be forced to contact ARLA without compromising... Very very disappointed Underwoods town and country! As Adam said if I could give minus I would give minus 5 stars! ... Read more

Unfortunately there was no option to rate this company 0 star. Have had terrible slow service from the start with very little help or care from anyone working there. Please be aware that this company will not want to give you your deposit back they even try claiming that there is dust on the skirting boards to just to try squeeze every last penny out of you, an absolute joke!.After going elsewhere for my new property i have been completly satisfied with the service finally giving me hope that there are decent and honest people out there who are not trying to rip you off and get everything they can out of you.If you do use this company do not expect to get all the deposit back unless you do not step foot in the property....
