How can you review a university in a pithy way? Bristol is a city university rather than campus based, and is part of the Russell Group (one down from Oxbridge). It's a great city to be a student in but it depends on what you want to study, so go do some homework!

Just had a pacemaker fitted at this hospital. Very efficient and pleasant staff. They are very particular where hygiene and covid restrictions are concerned.

It seems a bit facile to make a university choice based on a google review but if you must know I did a medical degree and doctorate here and liked it well enough.
Avoid the chicken. It’s a bit rubbery

I've never been here, never been to UK at all, but I've always wanted to go here. Maybe because I used to tell my friends that my great great grandfather is from Bristol as a joke. I could've said London or Manchester, but I didn't. I really hope I can come here some time.

Everyone from doctors nurses porters and cleaners were so friendly and did their jobs efficiently with a smile. Doctors were very thorough investigating my problem. I even enjoy being in hospital. Thank you all for your wonderful self- sacrificing work in these very difficult times. Excellent

Very good university ???????? . But expensive ,for international students it can be a better option for those who didn't get admission into Oxford, Cambridge ,icl or ucl ,etc. getting admission is not that hard then as compared to Oxford ,etc . But keep in mind it's very expensive also .I really want to study there but again due to financial problem I'm unable to fulfill my dream . I wanted to know that can I get fully funded scholarship?

Been to Bristol many times before, but this visit is unique. In Bristol Heart hospital recovering from open heart surgery. Wonderful hospital, care is top notch. From cleaners to surgeons everyone is so helpful and supportive. I've included the photo from my ward windows. The only view throughout the cardiac unit so I'm doubly lucky

Had a wander around the Royal Fort Gardens
My first time there. Much larger than I thought it would, with a mixture of lawns and shrubbery. Well laid out and not too busy, so easy to obey the social distancing signs. Will definitely be back.

Spent a large number of days there on a Vet Program. Amazing buildings and clean streets. The staff members were helpful and kind. The food from the chef was delicious! Always looking forward to visit it again!

I'm a former employee who applied for work using the Temporary Staffing Service but was turned down. It is a puzzling outfit which doesn't really make clear what skills they are looking for (do they want expertise in IT or not? And if so, what sort of expertise?). Comparing notes with people who've been employed by similar services at other universities makes me think that it could be more extensively and productively used.
