Carson & Co Estate Agents have 6 branches and they mainly list properties in RG12, GU15, RG27, GU18, GU46 and GU21. Over the last 6 months, they've listed 93 properties, with an average time to sale of 19 weeks.
I very rarely leave reviews but this was definitely an occasion where one is required.
I work in the customer service industry and understand that life happens and that sometimes you simply cannot deliver the service that was promised. However, no updates for two weeks (from anyone) despite emails and calls- and being told that brexit is to blame is completely unacceptable- what does brexit have to do with customer service?
With no one picking up the phone to us, this made us suspect that no one was picking up the phone to potential interested parties.
A lot of bluster and no delivery.
Moved out of previous rental property august 2018. No problems with check out inventory. 9 months later I still haven't recieved my deposit back. Reason being" "carson and no are Unable to get hold of landlord " so I am out of pocket and multiple emails phone calls and promises later I am forced to engage legal representation to get back money that is legally mine and should never of been left this long for money that they are holding having passed the inventory. I loose 300 in legal fees but at least I get the rest in my pocket which is more than carson and co are able to do for me. Still waiting for my latest call back from bracknell branch rental property manager 2 days later and counting
Having spoken to many agents, the Lettings team have by far been the most helpful. Looking for properties is a very stressful process and to have people who care and take an actual interest in your needs is a breath of fresh air. Thank you!
Kimberley & Hannah have been amazing! A real credit to the company, have always been informative and helpful during my time with Carsons. Highly recommended!
I would like to personally thank Jessika Cardinali, Nick de Goede and Leanne Ward of the outstanding and professional service that I received throughout the process of buying my first house. Absolutely brilliant service from the day I made my offer to the day of completion.
Jess at Carsons was very helpful and friendly in helping us find a property that suited our needs.
When we purchased a property Carsons always kept us updated on the progress and the moving in process was very smooth .
This is the first estate agents I have used, in 24 years, where they actually deserve their fee, and some! I have mainly dealt with Gina and Josh who have been nothing but courteous, friendly, professional and helpful. Gina, the Branch Manager, has gone above and beyond any estate agent I have ever known. She has been there for me every step of the way and given excellent advice and guidance, during some very trying times. I would not hesitate in recommending her and this branch.
To anyone considering using Carson & Co, Yateley.
I would recommend Carson's, without hesitation.
The whole office act as a team, and nothing is ever too much, and they are all eager to help, from Andrew, Robin, Lewis, down to the janitor!
They made our entire selling experience painless, and also, I should mention a word of gratitude for their preferred conveyancers, called Countrywide, as they are as professional and helpful as Carson's and you are only as string, as your weakest link, and there are no weak links as far as my experience went.
A Huge thank you Carson's/Countrywide, from Chris & Beci Casey
I really appreciated Stephanie Duff's communication and enthusiasm during my house buying process. She liased between the seller and myself regularly to ensure the process was smooth. Highly recommend Woking branch.
They cannot be trusted. We were a month into our purchase of a property when they phoned to advise that they had put forward a new offer to the seller which was accepted. This is despite us already being significantly advanced in our conveyancing. They wanted us to counter the new offer (which apparently was from a couple who had viewed the property two months prior and had just sold their flat). We couldn't budge on the already accepted offer price, we already had the mortgage organised and survey done. We therefore were forced to abandon the purchase and we lost all the money we had spent on the conveyancing. The result was that our plans to be moved into our new home prior to our baby being born were lost in addition to the lost money and stress. Less than a year after this happened, the same property is back on the market again with Carsons. It has had some superficial improvements (new boiler, new carpets, kitchen surfaces) yet is marketed for 41% of the original purchase price. It also also miraculously become a terraced house despite actually being a leasehold maisonette.
Please do not trust them.
