They cannot be trusted. We were a month into our purchase of a property when they phoned to advise that they had put forward a new offer to the seller which was accepted. This is despite us already being significantly advanced in our conveyancing. They wanted us to counter the new offer (which apparently was from a couple who had viewed the property two months prior and had just sold their flat). We couldn't budge on the already accepted offer price, we already had the mortgage organised and survey done. We therefore were forced to abandon the purchase and we lost all the money we had spent on the conveyancing. The result was that our plans to be moved into our new home prior to our baby being born were lost in addition to the lost money and stress. Less than a year after this happened, the same property is back on the market again with Carsons. It has had some superficial improvements (new boiler, new carpets, kitchen surfaces) yet is marketed for 41% of the original purchase price. It also also miraculously become a terraced house despite actually being a leasehold maisonette.
Please do not trust them.

We just sold our house with Carsons and they were polite, helpful and not at all pushy. We were 300 miles from the property we were selling and they went out if the way to keep us informed at every stage. Everything was handled quickly and easily.
