Toby and Jenna were a fantastic team, guiding and assisting me through the processes of finding a flat which was most suitable for me.
Each of them was pleasant, patient, and communicative throughout each step, offering me not only the general facts about the apartment and neighborhood, but also insight into a multitude of aspects towards relocating.
They went above and beyond what I was expecting, especially in stressful scenarios.
They are personable and mindful; exactly what someone would look for when moving.
I would not hesitate to work with this duo again should I require a realty team in the future.

We've visited a property to let with John D Wood. We liked the property, and sent an offer. Offer accepted. So we paid the holding deposit.
We went through the referencing, very long and time consuming. It took 15 days to have a feedback. And the feedback was : we can't reference you because your tax returns were from France, not from the UK.
The letting agent offered us to pay all the rents (18 months) upfront, to skip the reference. We obviously refused.
And we started panicking, because our move out date from our current property was approaching... We quickly visited other properties. We found a house to let through another letting agency. The referencing took literally 2 days, and we had no issues (they accepted tax returns from France). Luckily, we have been able to find house to let in time.
John D Wood came back to us, in the meanwhile, saying that the landlord had finally accepted to rent us his property, even if our tax returns were from France.
But it was too late. We had already found another house.
But John D Wood is refusing to reimburse our holding deposit, because they say that it's our decision not to let this house and that our offer was accepted by the landlord.
So we now have to enter into a legal fight.
I would highly recommend NOT to work with John D Wood.

Absolutely shocking experience. Very brief but negative encounter with Jenna Shakir who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had arranged for photographers to come into our home to take photos. When we arrived home our flat had been rearranged with clothes thrown on the floor and valuables damaged. After reaching out to try to get her to solve the issue, Jenna initially agreed it was shocking and wrong and then a couple of days later went back on her word saying it’s nothing to do with her and our responsibility to sort out with a 3rd party photographer (which she arranged). Would not recommend trusting her or John D Wood with your property as a landlord or tenant.

We were most impressed by the professionalism, determination and patience shown to us by all at John D Wood Earls Court, but particularly by David and Simon who took it is as their personal mission to sell our 2 bedroom flat! The perseverance and energy they put into marketing our flat in very difficult market conditions was simply amazing. They continually supported, reassured and communicated with us throughout the whole process leaving us feeling fully informed and in control. Thank you all so much.

We purchased our two bedroom flat through John D Wood at Fulham Broadway earlier this year. Our estate agent John Hyslop was attentive, professional and communicated clearly throughout the entire process to ensure we were kept fully informed. We would absolutely recommend John to anyone in the area looking to buy a property.

Excellent advice and hard work got my flat sold. Kesha had to make numerous calls to navigate a tricky sale (fraught with lease issues) and she worked with a lot of determination. We didn't always agree with each other but that's why you instruct a good agent; to get their opinion, which is sometimes what you need - rather than want - to hear. Would highly recommend Kesha and the team if you're selling in Islington/Hackney.

I worked with Katie Andrews, a Sales Negotiator at John D Wood on the purchase of my new flat. Katie has been extremely accommodating in the weeks preceding the exchange of contracts in terms of getting access to the property to get various measurements and quotes from tradesmen. She always went the extra mile and did it with such grace and enthusiasm. She was very pro-active, kept me posted, acted as a great link between all parties to the transaction and speeded up the completion process. Her contribution was absolutely priceless! I felt she really cared to reach the best outcome for her customers and offered a very friendly and professional service. Buying a property is a very stressful process but I didn’t doubt for a second that I was in good hands working with Katie. She was always very reassuring. I hope to work with Katie on another project in the future.

I instructed John D. Wood (South Kensington) to market my 1 bed flat for rental and Ghiles and his team did a great job. Honest advice from the start on pricing, knowledgeable about the market and the type of renters out there looking. I also asked them to give me feedback on what if anything I needed doing to my flat to freshen it up a bit.
From putting my flat on the market they let it on the first viewing for the full asking price with the tenant moving in the following week. Can't ask for more than that. Will be using John D. Wood the next time the flat comes back on the market. Thanks for all your effort!
